Enjoy the Peaceful Quiet & Private DOUBLE ROOM with queen size bed, lamp, radio wardrobe and is the smaller of the 2 rooms. We have a Deluxe room that is larger with a queen size bed and a single bed opening out to a conservatory and to the deck. ($10 more per night, if available) Enquiries are welcome. Lots of WOW in this architecturally designed home. Modern kitchen, large lounge, TV with chrome-cast and garden views surrounded with a fenced garden and spa pool. Unlimited wifi. Spaces are SHARED with other quests and family including. The house is serviced daily. The night cost is for the room and may include 1-2 quests & includes a continental breakfast. Great stay, clean , tidy and cosy and the owners were very nice and made us feel welcome. We didn’t read the description through properly and didn’t realise it was a shared living space until the second day.It wasn’t a problem and we enjoyed a warm and inviting place to stay. The hosts were amazing with accommodating our dogs, with a fully fenced section for them be able to play.We loved the spa pool, very relaxed after a long day.

We had a lovely stay. The hosts and Bob the dog were so welcoming and friendly. We didn’t want for anything. Comfy room and clean and tidy spaces. Our two dogs were also welcomed and made to feel at home. We would definitely return.

When we came to this property we were made as welcome as members of the family. We bought our 2 labs and Bob, their dog was very friendly. We went on walks by the river which is an brilliant asset for Palmerston North. Great conversations, 👌 facilities. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone coming to the Manawatu 🙂

Met all our needs, exceeded expectations.

Hone & Maha are amazing people and know how to make people feel welcome. Tucked away behind a park, this home was lively, well loved and impressively tended. Easy access to the riverwalk, the rest of town and beyond. We didn't spend much time in the space, but if we ever needed a host someone was around. Our room was quiet and great privacy. Breakfast offered variety, self serve (so what we wanted, whenever we woke up). Bob wanted a simple pat on the head in greeting, and otherwise watched the world happen. Excellent host animal.

Great hosts relaxing stay - pet friendly

Amazing place quiet and close to the Manawatu Walkway. Great hosts - we used Palmerston North as a base to explore the east coast. Hosts provided useful information on where to go, places to eat , best fish and chips. On behalf of Tasi ( my dog) and Peter ( my brother) just wanted to say a “special Thankyou for treating us all as family”. We will be back again. Lots more to explore
