Dreamy weekends on the water, the perfect getaway for the entire family and friends in the southern tip of St Mary’s peninsula. This gorgeous house with 5 Bedroom 3.5 Bath sleeps 10 very comfortably. Wake up with amazing water views and access to the water with your own private pier. Spend your day crabbing, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding or swimming. The house features an open floor plan with a cozy living room, sweeping views, and a fireplace. Enjoy your daily meals in the fully stocked gourmet kitchen (microwave, toaster, crock pot, blender, gas stove , refrigerator, dishwasher) and airy dining area. A very attractive wrapped around porch with sitting and outdoor grills (gas and smoker) invites you to watch the family play in the yard or simply relax with your favorite book. Also on the lawn you will find a cozy fire pit with 4 chairs for those chilly nights. The second floor offers a delightful grand master suite with an array of windows facing the water, a wonderful private deck to enjoy nature and a very spacious bathroom with a great soaking tub, a separate shower and dual sink. Additional 3 bedrooms on this floor offer great privacy and beautiful views. Enjoy the convenience of a second level separate laundry room. The top level is a especial one! It is huge with 360 degree views for all the family to hang out, play pool, watch movies, launch or watch the sunset while relaxing with a nice conversation. This top level also features a fifth bedroom with a full bath. All this would not be complete without the 2 car garage! where you can find a ping pong table, a laundry tub, kayaks, and paddle boards and more. In the driveway you can park 4+ cars. Son's Wedding

The house was in a great location and had wonderful views of the river. The beds were clean and comfortable. The rooms are all ample size and accommodated our large family. My only comment is the outside appeared to need a deep clean, however since it was May and still a bit cold that was not an issue for us. I would absolutely stay at this property again.

This is a gem in southern Maryland!

This place is absolutely beautiful and everything you could ask for for an affordable large-family vacation on the bay. The house is stunningly spacious, and I’m sure it costs them a fortune to clean as well as they do. Right next to point lookout, with boats and grills available. There were even some crabbing pots on the dock!

Annual Family Reunion

This is our second time renting this wonderful property, and we were delighted to have our annual family reunion there. It's the perfect place for large groups, with plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable. The huge dining table made the ideal gathering place for large family meals and card games/board games. The location is nearby family beach houses, which makes it very convenient for our extended family members to all be together. Thanks very much!

The details

We were able to check in prior to the actual check in time which was a great help and very appreciated. It is important to note that you have to take your trash when you go. This could be a deal breaker and needs to be clearly stated in the ad profile. All the furniture is stained, we put sheets on the couch and chairs because they appeared soiled and dirty. The kitchenware, pots, pans, can opener all need to be replaced. There wasn’t even a good frying pan! It had snowed 3 days prior to us getting there. It was attempted to clear the steps but it was a solid sheet of ice.This house has lots of potential, it just isn’t getting the cleaning or love that it needs. We will not return to this house.

Perfect Family Gathering

Everything we needed and more was waiting for our Thanksgiving gathering. We enjoyed the kayaks, made a fire in the fire pit, watched the game, cooked up a storm and enjoyed a walk out to the lighthouse. Great property!

Point Lookout Getaway

You will have a wow factor when you first enter this home and you look out and see the beauty of nature. Take a walk out to the back porch and down the steps to the grassy back yard and then walk onto the wooden deck and then sit on the Adirondack chairs and become mesmerized by the peacefulness and all the beauty that surrounds you. Priceless! My husband and I along with our 3 yo Maltese (all with life jackets on even our little dog) took full advantage of the kayaks that were nicely provided by our host and with access onto Tanner’s Creek we paddled to the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay. We saw an abundance of fiddler crabs scampering along the shore line, as well as seeing osprey, egrets, and blue heron, and even a green tree frog or two sunning themselves. Nature at its best. Take advantage of the views from all three floors of the house…you will not be disappointed! Karina was quick to respond to any questions we had.

Beautiful home on the Bay. We enjoyed our time at the house and spent most days on the dock catching blue crabs and exploring the area. I highly recommed Pier 450 restaurant if you do stay, one of my favorite restaurants!

Nice getaway location!

I booked Karina’s place for a relaxing weekend getaway with a few friends and the location did not disappoint! The house is located on the water and has water access/pier, so it would be a nice location to visit once it gets warmer. We spent a lot of our time hanging out on the 3rd floor, a large tv, pool table, and great views of the creek. Would definitely consider booking again and bringing friends with kids in the summer!

This house has great entertaining areas on the main level & third level which are both large and accommodating for big groups. Super clean, everything seems to be brand new/remodeled. We can’t wait to come back when the weather is a bit warmer to enjoy the dock and fire pit.

The house is great. Nice and clean and well equipped. The property was quiet and restful. The water access and proximity to the state park were great. Crab, osprey, bald eagles, turtles, herons, pelicans, deer, rabbits all seen from the back porch and dock. Be sure to read the fine print. This property requires you to haul your own trash out. No Trash cans or dumpsters on site.

This property is beautiful! The yard & pier are peaceful and relaxing where you can enjoy the wildlife- everything from heron to snails, rabbits & deer during the day - and abundant stars at night. Crabbing is also plentiful off the pier. The beach at Point Lookout State Park is only minutes away for a nice bayside beach experience. The inside allows plenty of room & activities such as ping-pong & pool. The third floor large screen TV was great for movies, family time, etc. All bedrooms & baths are spacious. Another great feature is the Blackstone flat top grill on the porch — you can cook bacon, sausage & eggs for 12 in minutes, not to mention plenty of burgers & dogs in no time! Karina is a wonderful host & quickly responsive to questions & additional info. We highly recommend this stay for a restful vaca near the Chesapeake!

Great vacation!!

We had a great stay !! The owner was quick to respond to questions. The house was beautiful with plenty of space for our 2 families. The open concept first floor was perfect for us to cook , and still be able to hang out with everyone who was either at the kitchen table or watching the TV in the living room. The 3rd floor was an added bonus for the older kids with a giant TV and pool table. The large yard was perfect to set up lawn games for everyone.. The one thing to note ( and this is not a negative review just a need to know for future boaters) is the creek is tidal. At low tide there is only about 18 inches of water. We did bring a 15 foot boat so it was tough to be able to go in and out of the creek until high tide came in. The creek is well marked through the channel so you can get out to the bay at high tide (about 3 feet of water at high tide). The dock was great for fishing, crabbing, kayaking and just enjoying your morning coffee however due to shallow water kids are not able to jump off. Point look out state park is right down the road. There is also a Dollar General, market, and farm stand close by. Great vacation !! We would rent again!!
