Eight beautiful handcrafted REAL log cabins nestled in the mountain pines. Each cabin has a full kitchen, bathroom with a shower and a sleeping loft. A cozy wood-burning fireplace/stove enhances the "real log cabin experience". Sit on your large front porch and watch the elk wander through the pines, meadows and hilly rock outcroppings of our 25 acres. A large group picnic area is centered in the circle of cabins and each cabin has its own BBQ grill. Luna Lake is only 1.3 miles away, with Big Lake, and Nelson Reservoir close by for all your hiking, boating, and fishing needs! Hunters have access to one of the best elk hunting grounds in Arizona! Easy access just off of Highway 180. Great for a weekend get away, family reunion, or a "Wedding in the Woods"! Cabins can sleep UP TO 5-6 persons, prices will vary. Queen and twin beds available. Come relax, breathe our fresh air and rejuvenate yourself! (To preserve the enjoyment of all guests, no smoking in the cabins and no pets please) Children Welcome!

The location is beautiful. The cabin is adorable. However the cleanliness was below standards. We found many cobb webs near our bed with live spiders. When moving the bed to remove cobb webs, the trash underneath the bed was dis-heartning. There is no way this is properly mantained and cleaned. We had drove 5 hours to get there. Finding another place to stay was not an option. Pretty expensive for an unkept location.

Im so sorry our cabin was not up to your standards. All our other reviews talk about how clean everything is in the cabins. Possibly the new substitute housekeeper we use off and on missed under the bed and since that particular cabin hadnt been rented recently she may have forgotten to go back and check for spiders. Not sure. She said she cleaned everything as usual. Nevertheless, we ARE advertised as real log cabins in full pine trees. We do get spiders, etc and even with eradicating them, they can rebuild in no time at all. We are located in the mountains with all natural surroundings, so similar to camping, bugs live in the area. If I or my housekeeper had bern informed, we could have easily taken care of it or moved you to another cabin.

Overall the property was great. The loft would get very warm when running the heater downstairs. Understanding heat rises and do not feel anything could be done to help this in loft style cabin. Not sure the age of the cabin, but door latches probably need to be replaced. Could easily get locked into bathroom and hall close was the same way. We had to remove door know from bathroom and put back on once we left. Was looking to replace myself but of course no hardware store in Alpine had parts. Would still rent again if the need ever arose again in the future. Was happy with everything. Thanks

The family and I really love this please. It quiet and beautifully. We stayed here a few years ago and we go the same one and that made my wife so happy. Everyone should stay here . It was me the wife my daughter and her friend. And it was only 400 for too nights .

Had a wonderful stay! Cabin was absolutely perfect. Lovely front porch to sit on and watch the elk in the morning. Would recommend to anyone really wanting to unplug and spend some time in Alpine!

Enjoyed our stay , just as advertised nice and clean. They are actually in the forest which is nice but only one minute to the highway. Nice and peaceful!

A Real Cabin get a way

The cabin was amazing. The bed was really soft. There were spider webs everywhere. Some kitchen items are missing. But the place was really nice.
