The cabin was very nice and perfect for our anniversary trip! Located between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and a quick hop on the bypass to the Great Smoky Mountains!
My wife and I booked the cabin for a weekend getaway. This is a great cabin. The back porch with hot tub and TV was very relaxing. The cabin is close to everything. 100% recommend.
Everything was so easy. She covered all the bases in the email regarding check in/out details, the property was clean and ready for us. Got there, had the door code and was able to go straight in.
Cabin was beautiful and clean, views were gorgeous, everything was exactly as described, great communication, only negative thing was the mattress, owner might want to invest in new mattress, enjoyed our weekend, would definitely stay again and recommend to others
My wife and I stayed here for our annual December getaway. It is a nice cabin with everything we needed for a week away.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
Disliked: Communication, listing accuracy
Place was clean but the floor has multiple places with big gaps in the hardwood and the microwave handle is almost ripped off and the shower lights and heads are about to literally fall out, the back porch is slanted like it’s about to fall off the hill which ain’t to bad till you get in the hot tub and the water is 4 inches deeper on one side I messaged the host as soon as I got there and never 1 time got a reply luckily we didn’t have any major issues
The pictures of the property does no justice. It's beautiful and so cozy. The location is prim, three minutes from the Gatlinburg welcoming center where you can park and catch the trolley all around town to all the attractions!!! Must try at least one coster while you're here lol. But the best part, there are miles and miles of hiking trails just a short drive away!!! Lastly the host was very helpful and responded to our questions quickly!!! 10 stars and we will be back
The bed was so broken down that you could not sleep in it. The window shade in the bedroom was broken. mold was present in the shower.Host was contacted the next morning but was unwilling to credit the second night stay. We left anyway
Overall very lovely stay. We enjoyed the hot tub on the balcony, the shower makes you feel like you’re in a cave, super cool! The cabin didn’t seem 100% ready for us before we got there, small things like some light bulbs being out which, 2/4 were fixed during our stay but according to past reviews they’ve been out a while. The blinds in the bedroom do not close properly which made us feel we didn’t have the most privacy but sierra was very nice and helpful for the most part. A few messages got missed but other than that, great communication.
Our family enjoyed our time at Black Bear Ridge! Clean amenities, homey, and relaxing. Loved the back porch with the hot tub! The host was super nice and helpful!
Great place to stay! Clean and neat. It was easy to find and instructions were easy to follow. The shower is amazing!!!! The remotes for the bedroom and deck TV’s were missing but we were able to download an app to use. The alarm system was a bit temperamental but we were able to use it. Over all a great experience! Would recommend to others.
We loved how centrally located it was between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The hot tub was amazing and so was the shower. We enjoyed our stay very much.
Amazing place to stay. Trees need trimmed to appreciate the view but that is no fault to the property. Make sure you run the in house jacuzzi before getting in. The only negative(s) were: 1. The bed had a big dip in it. / probably needs replaced. 2. I would recommend that the cleaning crew run and clean the jacuzzi every other day because it was full of bugs. A HUGE Millipede or something with a huge body and many legs( I don’t care a huge bug) shot out and landed on me ….then more other bugs were just all in the water when I ran the jets. So I could not enjoy the one thing I was looking forward to. Other than that it is amazing.
We needed a quick getaway as a newly married couple and this cabin was perfect!! Very clean and beautiful on the inside. The back porch was amazing. We will come back for sure!
The cabin was very clean- aside from some layered dust on top of doorways and higher cabinets. The shower top was held on with a zip tie- which was just visually off putting- even though it seemed to work appropriately. The bed was absolutely awful- it is a really old spring mattress and honestly when you lay on it it feels hollow. After hiking all day- that was less than a relaxing/ rejuvenating sleep. The hot tub was uncomfortable as the inside is kinda shallow and all plastic with nowhere to rest our heads- I guess just not made for taller people. Overall - the bed alone would make us not return- we wanted a couples vacation that was relaxing and what we got was a value cabin that was less than relaxing after days of adventure.
Our stay was perfect!! The outdoor fireplace and tv seemed to be our favorite spot during our stay. Highly recommend and would stay again
