We had an amazing stay. The scenery was so beautiful with the fall colors on full display. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Highly recommend!
We loved our stay. We had excellent communication with the owner, the cabin was clean and well equipped, it was peaceful, and it was a good location for us to get to all the hikes we wanted to discover over the weekend.
Awesome log cabin tucked away in the woods! I was so impressed by the cleanliness of this cabin. Everything was well maintained and the kitchen had everything we needed. Would stay again!!
We visited the area to do the Chapel Hills Loop hike. Which was more than awesome. The weather was perfect, and the views were unbelievable. Nauti Pine was our home away from home. We enjoyed fires at the firepit, amazing stars at night and very comfy beds. Although there is a lot to do in the area we opted to spend a whole day just hanging out at the cabin. Soooo nice.
This cabin was perfectly located near the Pictured Rocks park. The kayaks provided were perfect to go out on the little lake in the backyard. The cabin fit our group of 5. We would stay again!
Great location with tons of outdoor activities and a beautiful cottage to stay at. Fully recommend the cabin and the area. Loved it and will be back for sure. Thanks to the perfect support and easy communication.
We loved this beautiful cabin on the lake. Very clean and loaded with all the things we needed to make our stay comfortable. We loved kayaking, it was so peaceful and relaxing. Would stay here again for sure!
The cabin and property is beautiful! The location is about as good as it gets, in the middle of Grand Marais and Munising. Communication with the owner was simple with quick responses.
We had such a wonderful stay at this cabin! It was a beautiful remote setting. We spent our time kayaking/fishing during the day, sitting around the fire in the evening or putting puzzles together with all the windows open letting the cool breeze come through. Hands down the most relaxing vacation we’ve ever taken. Would stay again!
The property is as described and look the same as on the pictures. The setting is even more beautiful than described and offers everything for a relaxing holiday. I wish we could have stayed longer!
Remote & rustic- just what we were looking for. Felt like we had the lake all to ourselves. Enjoyed kayaking, bonfires, and yard games. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We were able to use our own streaming services for movies. Visited Munising ( pontoon rental, shopping, Dogpatch restaurant for dinner) and Grand Marais ( beach time, shopping, lunch at Grand Marais Tavern). Also did a few Pictured Rocks hiking trails and golfed at a couple different courses. Ate at the Bear Trap. Such a beautiful area - perfect way to enjoy the great outdoors!
It took a minute to figure out which driveway was ours but when we arrived it was heaven. The view was great the cabin is cozy, has some updates the owners are working on but we didn’t mind. The beds were comfortable. We used the two kayaks every day and found beautiful painted turtles and hit the right time for the water lilies to be in full bloom. We would stay here again.
Pros:1. Clean and well stocked2. Access to the lake is amazing... like a little oasis of peace3. Great outdoor space. Cons:1. One bedroom and bathroom are in the basement and very rustic/rough. Concrete floors, curtains instead of walls, etc. We were supposed to have another family join us and it would have been rough had they not cancelled due to flooding in their home. 2. Mattresses are very squishy/unsupportive. We have some bad backs in our family so that was tricky for us.
Great cabin! You can tell they’ve been renting this cabin long enough to have worked out the kinks! It was so CLEAN! Plenty of bathroom towels, washcloths, kitchen towels, TP, etc. Things you often run out of during a rental stay. The water purifier in the fridge was an unexpected nice touch! Wood ready to go for fires. Overall so satisfied and 10/10 would stay here again!
We absolutely felt at home here and could Invision a future in the UP. The only down side is the distance away from gas and groceries. Don't let your tank go below a quarter and plan your meals ahead. Besides that it is a great place to stay when seeing pictured rocks. Thank you!
Since booking this property, the experience from start to finish was nothing but exceptional. Jeff and Ariana have an amazing piece of property and keep it as such - clean, organized, and comfortable. Their communication was informative and clear and answered all of our questions leading up to our reservation. The location and cabin are perfectly situated on Nugent Lake and tucked away from any hustle and bustle. But you can still get out on Adams Trail and head to Munising, Pictured Rocks, Grand Marais and other cool little places to eat, explore, and be outside. Plus, there’s plenty to do at the cabin itself. We had an absolute blast and hope to be back again. They really do have it set up to where it feels like a piece of home - especially when family can all be together. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to BE in the U.P. and explore the many gems (no pun intended) it has to offer! Thank you!

We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Thanks for booking with us.
This cabin is beautiful! The lake is right outside and was wonderful for kayaking or swimming on. Everything was well set up and there was a wide selection of kitchen items from pots to pans to the variety of utensils for cooking. There were also some spices made available too! The wifi worked great, though we didn't make much use of it ourselves. The check-in process was very easy. The only minor problems my group had was with directions to the cabin. Since GPS signal is spotty, we were dependent on directions from the owner after a certain point. These directions were mostly good, but half of our group ended up at a different cabin when following the directions. I would just recommend that when you start seeing the signs for Nauti Pine Lodge that you follow the signs regardless of what your directions say.The only other thing that was vaguely troublesome was the garbage situation. You have to sort the garbage into burnables and non-burnables because garbage service is hard to come by up there. In and of itself it's not troublesome, it just would have been nice if that had been somewhere in the information given beforehand because we didn't expect that we would have to take garbage home with us.All that being said, the property was lovely and we enjoyed ourselves immensely.
