Welcome to your home away from home! We believe our home is perfect for hosting larger families/groups or a single business traveler looking to have all of the comforts of home; especially, during pandemic without making big hole in one's pocket.
There are 8 good size bedrooms 3.5 baths, two living areas- fully equipped two large kitchens with two laundries. The basement is finished with another living area, smart T.V., reclyining sofa, 3 bedrooms, kitchen, play area for children. Main has a master bedroom with full bath, living room, dining room, laundry, kitchen, kids play room/office with pull out queen size day bed. First floor has three bedrooms (all new mattresses, one queen sized beds, 1 twin bed and two full bed) and shared full bath in the hallway. extra beds, kids items will be provided upon request, Enjoy the nature and grilling in the backyard.
Guests must not move furniture. If any furniture is moved, it must be returned to its original position prior to checkout. Failure to do so will result in additional charges, as rearranging furniture requires extra time and effort from the cleaning crew.
Any furniture left displaced, or any items (including dressers or their contents) found scattered or strewn in the backyard or front yard, will incur a mandatory $100 fee.
This policy is strictly enforced.

The owner submitted a claim through the insurance we purchased trying to say we had a leak in the bathroom and ruined the floor and ceiling. This never happened we checked the house before we lift no issue. Also the bathroom downstairs had brown water the first time it was used so maybe thru had an issue with their pipes

This was a old home in the process of being updated. The pictures showen on the web site are very old. The AC worked poorly. Furniture was broken. The BQ grill was a disaster. This was the worst VRBO we have used. I could go on and on........

Was disappointed in the beds as they weren’t comfortable at all. Don’t see how it could sleep 18. Kitchen was disappointing as not much for cooking as in pots and pans and half the burners didn’t work and stove in basement didn’t work at all and no water in the kitchen sink in basement. Dishwasher didn’t work. We let them know so hopefully they will fix before others rent the house. The pictures online are outdated especially the living room and kitchen. We were there to Christmas shop and had fun. For issues I didn’t like having to use email to communicate.. house was clean and neighborhood and location was good but we cook a couple meals so need a bit more in the kitchen and would like the beds to be more comfortable. Also no alcohol is allowed in the house so that should be told upfront and not when you are checking in and too late to get a refund and that could be a deal breaker for some people. I understand no parties but some people do like to have a cocktail with dinner.

It was a bit overstated. My handyman examined all the appliances and confirmed they in tip - top condition - may be the plug got loose during their stay. Also, all of our current/previous guests are happy with the mattresses. We have 8 queen size beds + 2 full size, toddler, pull out day bed, sleeper sofa and three air mattresses, so it does comfortably accommodate 18 people. The only genuine issue was with sink and we already fixed it. Each group has unique need of cookwares so we keep most suitable ones keeping everyone intereste in mind. If I were informed about their extra cookwares were needed, we could have provided. The only real issue was with basement sink and we already fixed it. I had to rush my handyman on weekend and had to pay him extra when guests accidentally locked all the doors from inside before going out. Guests never showed courtesy to inform that chair was broken during their stay. Additionally, we had no mention of restricting your alcohol consumption on our listing; as far as you are responsible as a guest.

Wedding homebase

Large house that just keeps on going. lots of beds. Good quiet neighborhood that is close to many things. slept 18 here several nights - all the grandparents, groomsman, brothers and aunt & uncle for Oldest's son's wedding. the walk in closets gave space for the final storage and ironing of 8 dresses and allowed grandma to do final touche on wedding dress - even had room for the sewing machine. The house was a life saver. it is on a cul-d-sac so try to carpool if have mega group like mine. easily fit 6-7 cars with garage or driveway, and 1 street place.

Shannon's group was very considerate with house rules and easy to communicate. I loved their creativatity of turning bonus room in to bedroom by placing temporary curtains arrangement at the door frame. They are welcomed again.

Overland Park

This was a great place for our family to gather for our sons wedding. Excellent space , nice back yard and deck for games and yard games. Plenty of room to cook and visit. Close to everything you need, I would recommend this place for family gatherings
