Very disappointed
Very disappointing! Especially because of how highly Ron spoke of his Villa.
On arrival it looked as in the photos. But the cracks started to appear very quickly unfortunately. Firstly we had been looking forward to the pool table being in the Villa with the air conditioning instead of it usually being in the very warm garage. That was until we got up to it, disappointingly most of the balls were broken and cracked. Only one cue had a tip on it! Table was way off the level it was impossible to play on. Air hockey table didn’t work well either!A load of the bulbs were out. We changed them which was fine but this is one of the obvious things for an owner to spot? Even the bulb in the fridge! Which had not been cleaned! Under the beds (well under all furniture) was discussing. Most of the cutlery was badly damaged. Kettle was broken. Not all the rings on the hob worked! Out at the pool we had to carefully select which furniture would be able to be used due to the severe rust on most of the legs! One pool towel? All of these things would be reasonably inexpensive to replace especially at the rates being charged for this "deluxe Villa" by the way Ron explains how he runs his Villa, putting the money back in to it! It clearly hasn't been going back in for a while! It was most annoying when we were out by the pool and could smell a strong smell of gas. This was a worrying thought for Rons Villa and ourselves so we tried all three phones in the Villa as we thought this was an emergency, to find that none were working! We send an email to which we got a reply Six days later. His replay was very dismissive and quite arrogant. Telling us "it's not gas, it's Wet Lands" which then seemed to result in the pool Guy turning the pool filtration system off for the last week of our vacation. Which of course just gathered dirt and lots of bugs from the multiple holes that were in the netting round the pool!
