Waters edge

VRBO did not inform us all the amenities weren't available. I had to find out when I arrived. Pool and deck and path to beach without having to walk around the building to public access should be noted.

We understand your frustration however all of our properties state the renovations/construction that are in that resort. We are a little confused on how you were not informed because right at the top of the description of the condo it states (copied and paste straight from VRBO) "Rising Tides Properties Condo 608 ***Private balconies are OPEN to enjoy the spectacular view of the Atlantic Ocean. Resort BAR IS OPEN. Resort is under renovations including amenities at this time. Please contact us with any questions or concerns. Have a blessed day and thank you for being part of Rising Tides Properties Beach family." You may have missed this since it is at the very top of the description. Thank you for bringing this to our attention so we can find a way to make it even more easier to read so there is no confusing upon arrivals. Other than the status on the resort construction, is there anything else as your rental company we need to notate for you? Great time in Garden City

Condo was great and the beach was perfect. Only complaint is the mattress needs replaced on the king bed, other than that, we would stay there again. .

Disappointed

The condo was nice and the view of the balcony was beautiful but the master bedroom bed was terrible. My back ached for days after two nights and I left early to return home to my bed it was so bad. My partner said the same thing that it was hard to sleep on for her as well.

Things good and things needing improvement

Good: 1. The view from the deck was awesome 2. Beds were comfortable. 3. Kitchen utensils plentiful - well stocked. 4. Refrigerator nice and cold - ice maker worked great. 5. The luggage carts were necessary and appreciated. 6. Proximity to the Marsh Walk (about 3 miles) Needs Improving: 1. Two rolls of toilet paper for the week - come on. They're 54 cents a roll at Costco. 2. Would be nice to have a salt & pepper shaker and some coffee filters - or at least inform us ahead of time to bring those items. 3. The lights in the kitchen need to be cut by half - you can perform surgery under the current lights. 4. It would be nice to have a guide on how to work the TV in the LR and BR. 5. The handle on the outside sliding door on the deck was missing. 6. There was no dish soap of dish drainer for the kitchen sink. 7. The bath towels need to be replaced - the towels were about as rough as 80 grit sandpaper. 8. Finally, there is a rule on Horry County beaches that ONLY umbrellas can be used for shade. We have a Shibumi that we could not use and had to go out and by a beach umbrella to use for the week. We had better umbrellas at home that we didn't bring - so it would have been nice to have some warning about the Horry County Beach Rules on shading before we got there. Overall it was a good place and a great location for the price.

Check in was easy and we got in two hours early. Condo was neat and clean. Just right for our crew of four!! View could not be beat! Our vacation stay was perfect! Thanks again and we will be back!!!
