We enjoyed our stay very much! Felt safe and comfortable! The place was very clean and had all amenities we needed! Have plans of booking this home again!!!
Our group of 4 had a very nice stay. Lots of vintage charm, modern bathrooms, comfy beds, the game room was a hit but what I enjoyed most was listen to the water flowing through the creek right behind the house. I will return in colder weather to enjoy the fire pit and woodburning stove.
The home is exceptionally clean. Some of the furniture and furnishings are well worn but over all the home is comfortable. Sitting on the back patio overlooking the river was very nice. The host was great and easy to communicate with. We went to a concert at Bethel Woods and it was only 20 minutes away. We explored the area and there was plenty to see and do for the weekend.
The host went above and beyond and put up decorations for us to surprise my husband for his 40th Birthday. The sound of the creek is amazing to wake up too!
Loved loved love this place!!!! The locals had a vibe where we were all #welxome. It was beautyfied and stunniana! The girls were gagged and gaggling in the river so true. The heart of the creek came home with us today. We will miss her soul and rumbling waters. The water is fine and the days were bright. Loved the store down the street! They’re lucky I was feeling kind and community oriented or I would’ve robbed the damn place! Everyone was awesome except the cleaning lady. She seemed jealous of our swag but trust we would’ve shared. ask and you shall receive!!!! #john3:16 #3.14159 #pie we were literally there at time in place and noon the moon we were preestablished So keep that in mind
Rented the house with a three-generation family group for a long weekend to attend a wedding in a nearby town. We all loved the house…plenty of historic charm with modern comforts in kitchen and bathrooms, and a gorgeous setting. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch to read, chat or drink coffee with the sound of the rushing creek in the background, and had fun playing horseshoes, pool, and exploring the creek. Had a terrific meal at the nearby Conover Club. Be aware there is one shower for the 4 bedrooms…truly not a problem from our perspective just required a little advance planning. Also use caution driving in the area…there are so many deer along the roads. Overall, highly recommended!
We had a large group for the weekend attending a concert at Bethel Woods. The property was perfect for all of us. The stream behind the house was beautiful. Be sure if you arrange transportation that the address is properly communicated because we had a hell of a time getting drivers to the correct address. Comfy beds and cold A/C. Quiet evenings.
The house was a beautiful 1890 farm house with great character. Loved our stay.
We had a great stay in this beautiful old farmhouse. We enjoyed the creekin the back yard to cool off. The town of Callicoon and the Delaware river was only 4 minutes away. Great location. Meghan was an excellent host who was easy to communicate with.
