In the picturesque village of Le Bacon, a complex of three adjoining holiday rentals available for rent individually or together for a getaway with family or friends! Located in Haute Lozère on the border with the Cantal department, its location is ideal for exploring the landscapes of the Margeride, the vast expanses of the Aubrac, and the Monts du Cantal mountain range. You’ll appreciate the proximity to the small shopping town of Saint-Chély-d’Apcher and the A75 highway, which places Le Bacon just 1 hour and 30 minutes from Clermont-Ferrand and 2 hours from Montpellier. In the village, you’ll find a small church with a stepped bell tower and, as reminders of a bygone way of life, a bread oven and a granite “ferradou” used for shoeing oxen. You’ll also enjoy the nearby hiking trails, which offer the chance to discover magnificent panoramic views that change with the seasons. The cottage features, on the ground floor, a living room with a fireplace (firewood not provided), a sofa, a television, and a built-in kitchenette (washing machine, microwave, refrigerator/freezer). On the ground floor, there is a bedroom with a double bed and a bedroom with two single beds. On the second floor, there is a bedroom with a single bed, a bathroom, and a separate toilet. Courtyard and terrace with patio furniture and a barbecue. Parking and a playground for children. Pets are allowed at no extra charge.
