This two-bedroom condo is one of our most popular and we are disappointed to see the remarks of this guest. These units are treated by their owners on a quarterly basis for pests and this one had had its regular treatment recently. If a renter finds bugs, and we are advised, which we were not, we would call Nader's Pest Raiders to address it immediately. Our housekeepers average 20-plus years of experience and go to great lengths to clean each property prior to any arrivals, and then they're inspected by a supervisor. As for the balcony door open and roaches, north Florida has had extensive rainfall and heat this year and the wood cockroaches have been resilient, and often renters will open the doors for ocean air and these pests come flying in. We caution about that to every renter who chooses to stay anywhere in Florida, ket alone in an oceanside resort. In 9 years of managing this particular property, we have never had anyone complain about cleanliness or pests, and if they would and advised us accordingly, we would immediately rectify or move them into another property. We were never contacted by this renter regarding these or any other issues, which is unfortunate in that it impacted their stay. These comments are not consistent with the numerous renters who have stayed in this unit this year or in years past.
