The view of the White River is gorgeous! The fire pit and deck offers lots of comfortable lounging and nature watching. The facilities are spacious--plenty of space to host meals. Lots of hikes and boating opportunities nearby. Locals were friendly and helpful. Can't recommend this spot enough!
The cabins were a great getaway for our entire family, all 12 of us. We were lucky enough to catch some fish and enjoy the town as well. It was truly something for everyone.

We're so glad you enjoyed your stay and hope you can come back soon!
We had a wonderful time and will absolutely be back. It was spacious and clean with a well supplied kitchen! The beds are great, and the cabins both have lots of extra touches. The owner was able to direct us to activities in the area which resulted in a great day of fishing.. We enjoyed our stay!

We are so happy you enjoyed your stay! We love sharing our beautiful Ozarks and White River with our guests...and the view is pretty sweet as well!
This place was better then we even expected! Such a beautiful home, on both sides! The back deck with both screened in porches was definitely the hang out spot. We can’t wait to book our next stay, definitely will have to stay longer next time!

We were so pleased with our rental! Extras were included, and it was super clean! Definitely a place for large families and it’s handicap accessible! We will definitely return!
Beautiful property - view of river is incredible. Comfortable and clean with plenty of room to spread out. We had 23 people sleep comfortably. Two kitchens were a bonus!
Great place. Plenty of space. We have a large family and everyone loved it young and old. Fishing was great also. Can’t beat this place on the White River. Especially for a group.
It is difficult to find wheelchair accessible lodging that allows us to experience the beauty of nature up close. We were very pleased to find this wonderful property that met our daughter's physical needs, and allowed us to visit with extended family in a great spot on the White River. We hope to return soon!

We are so happy your family enjoyed their stay and you found our wheelchair-accessible cabin accomodating. We love sharing our little piece of heaven here on the White River and love when people get to experience it for the first time! Hope y'all can stay with us again soon!
Our family stayed in both cabins turning a trip to see the 2024 eclipse into a family reunion and vacation. The place was spotless and huge! It far exceeded our expectations and we had much more room than we needed or expected. Great value also! We enjoyed trout fishing, even rented a boat for the day from Lindsey’s Trout Dock, which I recommend also. Highly recommend this cabin, you won’t be disappointed.
This is our second year staying here for a long weekend over the holidays. The space is terrific for a large group. The kitchens are well stocked, the bed are comfortable, and the towels are fresh. We have found tons of activities in the area to keep everyone active, but we always plan time on the porch to just relax and enjoy the beautiful view. Stacy is always helpful and makes sure we know if anything exciting is happening in town.

Thanks so much for spending your holidays with us! We always look forward to your stay and hope your family can make more memories at The Shoals in the future!
Property was great! Easy check in/out process. Great for teens and adults. Not so great for little ones though. The only downfall we had was there is no beach access close by. We have small grandchildren and this isn’t a good spot for them. The drop off from the back yard to the river is very steep.

Hi Misty!
We're so sorry you didn't find the cabins conducive to your small grandchildren. The White River doesn't have "beach areas" as it's geared more for trout fishing and boating. When the river level is normal we actually do have a lovely sandy area to hang out on at the bottom of the steps to the river. Unfortunately, we don't have control over the Corp of Engineers regulation on the water levels and releasing water from the damn as they fluctuate daily. We hope water levels will return to normal and sure hope you will consider a river stay again in the future! Thanks again for choosing us, ya'll were awesome guests!
We stayed here for a family getaway, our immediate family and my inlaws. This was perfect since there were two sides to the house. Everyone had plenty of space, shared and separated. The accommodations were generous inside and out. We loved staying on the river and walking down to the water's edge. Our host was very open and helpful and our trip exceeded our expectations. Thank you.
We LOVED our view, the cabin layout, the attention to comfort details, the space inside and out and the ability to communicate with the owners before our stay! We highly recommend The Shoals Lodge!

It was more than my family and I expected. It fit our huge family perfectly. The views and the home were absolutely beautiful! The property owners were very accommodating and helpful!
We will definitely be back
Our family very much enjoyed our stay at this property. The beds and linens were the most comfortable we have ever slept on - everyone agreed! We rented both cabins, both of which were well stocked and clean. The owners are very responsive to messages, and were friendly and easy to work with. Plenty of seating both inside and out. We saw deer and enjoyed sitting on the back patio overlooking the lake. We even took their recommendations on local restaurants and had some yummy pizza.
