Gemütliches und gut eingerichtetes Ferienhaus mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Am Anfang hat es viel geregnet, da war das umso wichtiger. Catherine hat immer schnell und direkt auf Fragen reagiert. Wir mochten den Ort Saint-Valéry-en-Caux, der nicht so verkünstelt ist wie das Nachbardorf Veules-les-Roses. Toller Blick auf Klippen vom Strand aus (Fußweg dahin ca. 30 Minuten). Das Haus ist geräumig mit Ess- und Wohnzimmer, Küche und oben drei Schlafzimmer (davon ein Durchgangszimmer), vor und hinter dem Haus zwei schöne Gärten. Manko allerdings die Straße, die neben dem Haus vorbeiführt. Diese ist zwar nur eine Nebenstraße, aber es fahren doch so einige Autos vorbei und der Lärm wird durch die erhöhte Lage des Hauses noch verstärkt.

Wir haben eine wunderbare Woche in Saint-Valery-en-Caux verbracht und sind ganz schweren Herzens abgereist. Das Haus ist ein Traum! So geschmackvoll eingerichtet, überall schöne Dinge zum Entdecken, alte Elemente mit Moderne aufs Beste verbunden und es fehlte an nichts! Im Garten ließ sich je nach Bedarf Schatten oder Sonne finden, wir haben das Haus und den Garten geliebt!!! Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind nicht weit, zum Hafen/Strand ebenso und die Umgebung bietet so viel zum Entdecken. Vielen Dank an die Gastgeber!

Das Häuschen mit Garten ist sehr nett und bietet alles, was man braucht. Wir und unsere drei Töchter haben den 10-tägigen Aufenthalt wirklich genossen. Die Schlafzimmer unter dem Dach sind gemütlich und den Mädchen hat es besonders gefallen, dass man von einem der Betten aus direkt in den Garten aussteigen kann. Den Schlüssel haben wir in einer Schlüsselbox mit Code neben der Haustür vorgefunden und ihn nach unserem Aufenthalt auch wieder dort hinterlegt, völlig unkompliziert. Der Hafen von Saint Valery ist vom Haus aus gut zu Fuss zu erreichen und besonders bei Sonnenuntergang zu empfehlen. Tipp: Wenn man, so wie wir, ein Auto mit wenig Bodenfreiheit hat, fährt man besser nicht in den Garten hinein, sondern stellt das Auto vor der Garteneinfahrt auf dem Gehsteig ab.
