Cabin was very clean! Comfy bed, property was well manicured, park like setting. Love the dogs that came to visit! Thank you Eden. Would recommend to anyone needing some relaxation!
The camping cabin we stayed in was a perfect central location to explore the upper Current River. Hiking trails with in a 25 minute drive, paddling outfitters 15 minutes away.
Cabin was clean, cozy and quiet, along with plenty of firewood for an outdoor campfire.
Our host created an ambiance of peace and tranquility,
thank you Eden

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
The cabin was lovely, had a great kitchenette, and comfortable for 4. The site only had 5 cabins, each with a porch, fire pit, small bbq, etc. Ice and wood were available. A small pond and hammocks were on the property. It was a short drive to the river launch points. Eden, the owner, lives at the site. Be sure to visit her pups and hummingbirds!
Make sure you look at your reservation dates. Mine was supposed to be for 26 and 27th and they put me down for arriving on 27th. I panicked when we arrived, luckily Eden our host was able to arrange it for us. The cabin was super cozy and cute. Would definitely recommend this place.
Property host is friendly and prompt. Was gracious enough to allow us an early check in, property was clean and maintained. The cabins are just the right size and Eden the host has them stocked up with all the kitchen items you need for a comfy stay she even has coffee and sugar ready for you setting on the shelf. Bathrooms, beds, and furniture were comfortable and well taken care of. Property is a stones throw away from Akers ferry and a hop skip and jump from Montauk. 5 stars would highly recommend this for any anglers looking to trout fish current river, or for families looking to float. Ice and firewood available for guests was a huge plus, and communication with the host was top notch.
This spot is just that! Perfect in every way, beautiful well maintained property. Eden and her pups are the perfect hosts, all the little details and artistic touches are spectacular. She’s very thoughtful and went the extra mile to make your stay the best it can be. Wood and Ice on the property which was great to have rolling in and in preparation for a float trip. Cabins are clean, air conditioned and we stocked with towels and cooking utensils. Loved she even had a fan.
Cabin was clean and big enough for the three of us. Eden was a perfect host and very friendly. The property was quiet with little traffic. The cabin was stocked with basic cooking essentials and having ice available before we headed to the river for the day was very convenient. We look forward to coming back!!!
It was nice to have all the little appliances (toaster oven, hot plate, electric skillet, etc.) In the cabin. It was pretty small but perfect for the two of us!
We stayed in Eden’s cabin (one of five) for a long weekend. It was very clean, comfortable and she offered personal touches to make our stay enjoyable. Our reason for the stay was to enjoy a float on the Current River. Canoe rentals are very close. This area of Missouri is beautiful!
Needed someplace to stay close to Montauk State Park. Eden’s property was clean, quiet, and relaxing. Eden is also a WONDERFUL host. Would go back just because of her. Also her two pups on the property were super sweet!
We needed a place to stay near Montauk State Park, and Eden’s cabin was the perfect place! It was only about a twenty minute drive from Montauk and the cabin was clean, decorated so cute with original artwork and had everything we needed! Eden made check in & out as easy as possible and was very friendly and responsive to messages before booking. We will definitely stay here again in the future!
We were late to booking for our 2 night stay for opening day this year. As soon as we saw this property available we jumped on it. We aren’t used to staying anywhere except inside the park so we were a little skeptical with this property since it still had availability and at such a reasonable price. When we got there our expectations were met and then some. Eden was so nice and hospitable. The cabins were perfect. Extremely clean and had everything you’d need for a fishing trip. If you need a place to stay in this area I highly recommend these cabins, you will not be disappointed.
My Buddy and I stayed 3 nights to fish the Current River in February. The cabin has all the “essentials”: running water, toilet, shower, electronic cookware, coffee pot, dishes, silverware, heating/ac, and beds. The beds were comfortable. We had issues with the heating unit on the wall at night time. It got pretty cold in there during the sub-freezing February nights. Not unbearable but still chilly. Honestly, though, it was probably just us not knowing how to work the remote. Other than that, it was a great stay! Eden was very communicative and check in/out was a breeze.
We stayed here to float Akers Ferry to Pulltite. Really enjoyed the setup and access to the area. We brought our own grill and camp stove. There are grills at the location but I really like to cook on a grill I'm familiar with. There are crafts created by Eden for sale, free firewood and ice. A nice convince store just about a mile away. We are coming back with the entire family soon.
The cabin was very close to the Jadwin Canoe Rentals which was very convenient! My kids enjoyed fishing in the pond. Eden was in the process of trying to get rid of the Lilly pads that got away from her. She wants to see the kids enjoy the pond. Eden is the owner of the cabins and has great vision for what she wants for her place! I would definitely stay again!
Eden was so friendly and accommodating! The cabin is gorgeous and very clean. Everything about this location is amazing. Our weekend was so relaxing and we will definitely be coming back here when we float the current!
The cabin is conveniently located near the northwest portion of the Currant River National Riverway. Very convenient for Akers Ferry and Montauk Springs State Park. The cabin is well appointed with all the basics - linens are provided and the kitchenette has all the basic small appliances - except for a microwave. We brought a camp kitchen and used a Coleman stove outdoors. The caretaker is very hospitable. She does have 2 friendly dogs and keeps them controlled.
A good stay in a natural setting - lots of birds and amphibians in the area.
