Great property - larger than expected. Bathrooms with each bedroom (great for separate couples), large kitchen, dining and living areas. Close to Taos and about 30 min from Taos Ski Valley. Given the time of year could take advantage all outdoor anemities but would love to come back in summer.
Fantastic house and surroundings, communication with the owner was seamless and felt like I knew him for a long time. Most (if not all) amenities in the house were for guests use, which is rare with other vrbos I've rented. The house itself is classy, full of luxurious guest amenities including a brand new hot tub, loads of games and books. Will be revisiting Jim's house again for sure!
The word "wow" was said a lot when we checked in to the property. The house is beautiful and the layout is perfect for groups of families because the common areas are in the middle and the bedrooms are in the four corners. It was very well stocked and most importantly, had plenty of bedding and towels for our group of four families. All of us had a great vacation in Taos and the home was a big part of that. We would definitely stay here again.
Excellent space for a large group! The house has everything you might need!
Super easy check in process and communication with Jim was excellent throughout the stay. Responds super quickly and was very accommodating of any needs. The house was excellent, plenty of space for a large group, we were very comfortable and plenty of parking space.
House is lovely. Kitchen offers the "basics," in terms of supplies - not a gourmet kitchen, though it looks like one! Perhaps people prefer to dine out when vacationing and do not need a fully stocked kitchen. We, however, love to create fabulous meals and dine at "home." Kitchen needs simple supplies like ziplocks, parchment paper, heavy duty kitchen trash bags, foil, and plastic wrap, cocktail making equipment and glassware, a food processor, a grater, more pots and pans, and more serving dishes. HVAC /AC unit was not operating in one of the rooms - disappointing this was not disclosed to us prior to arrival. Gardening - lawn in process of maintenance - again, wished we would have had prior disclosure that one of the maintenance people would be visiting the property daily and sometimes 2-3 times per day to maintain newly planted sod. BBQ in disrepair and needs flavor bars cleaned/replaced; door hinge on base is inoperable. Windows need screens. Window coverings could include room-darkening shades behind curtains to help with both light and insulation. Beds are very tall/high - not appropriate for ADA or someone needing assistance. Couches are lovely in two large common area rooms; additional throw pillows would make things even more comfortable. Contact person, Jim, is incredibly responsive and helpful. Gale, the maintenance person, also was helpful and very friendly. Great outdoor space and private indoor en-suite rooms. Perfect for a group, especially in the months that allow outdoor dining and gatherings. Loved the outdoor dining table and space.
This house is awesome. Great setup for multiple couples or a large group. The views of the golf course, the mountains and town were all superb. Would recommend to anyone looking into it and hopefully get a chance to visit again in the summer

Why they chose this property
This is the most peaceful, generous house--allowing for privacy and community in the same building. While it is very big and has some fine things, it's not stuffy but full of light and casual taste. Nothing like it in the mountains (that we know of).
What makes this property unique
#8 is at the highest point in the country club, so the views are amazing. You won't want to close the curtains.
