We stayed here over Thanksgiving and the house was perfect for us. Only piece of feedback is that the place could have been a bit tidier and could use a coat of paint

Great holiday weekend

Great Ski Weekend

Clean, spacious, modern, and conveniently located close to the #7 chair lift! Definitely recommend “You Bet Your Ace” for your next ski weekend get away with family and friends!

Great stay!

Great property! We had a great stay. The house was immaculate with all the amenities. Very pleased with our stay. The only problem we had is that the outdoor grill was broken. It wasn’t a big deal for us because the kitchen stove has a grill on it. Great property!

Nice but needs improvement

Beautiful home, needs a good overall cleaning. Outside of property needs attention, dirt and leaves over the front porch. Plenty of room for our family of 5. Problems we had were addressed in a timely manner.

Satisfactory

The house met our needs as a family of four plus our goldren retriever but there were some hiccups. The pre-scheduled heat/cool settings were a bit cumbersome, especially when our kiddos monitors alerted to temps as low as 61 degrees at night. The hot tub did not work the final night we were there - temp would not exceed 93 degrees. Dishwasher was not emptied upon our arrival and some pots/pans were left dirty in the cabinet. Requested extra linens because some which were provided were dirty. Extra pillows were available in an upstairs closet but none with pillow cases. The issues did not cause us any significant dissatisfaction, but attention to detail would have been appreciated. Would consider renting again.

Barrel in Back Yard - not working Sauna

Very disappointed in this rental. Advertised as having Platinum pass (free ski each day of stay for one skier) - this was not available. Hot tub smelled awful when we arrived - so bad we did not use. The sauna is inoperable - door will not close and unit does not work - maintenance showed up to no avail. The sectional couch is broken. Snow was blowing through the doors at hot tub into house while doors were closed. House was 50ish degrees when we arrived - took until 1130 to be comfortable. Driveway was not plowed, we were told that a shovel and salt were left so that we could clean it. Road to house in neighborhood was not plowed impacting guests. Cookware was beat. Have rented at Deep Creek for over 30 years. Would not rent this place again.

This is a nice property but needs better maintenance. Also, there is no pool. Not sure why the listing says there’s a pool when there’s not. My 4 kids were extremely disappointed, we only look at properties with pool access. The property is owned by Taylor Made Deep Creek Rentals, they will respond when you reach out through VRBO. They told me the pool actually meant the college pool that is a few miles away and has limited hours for the public (and costs additional money to use). They did give me a pass for my family to use, but due to the pool constantly being used for private lessons, we were turned away the first time we went and only able to go one other day. Also, the sauna was broken and not repaired during the week we were there despite reporting it the morning of the second day there. The cleaning job was shoddy, with dust everywhere and a stove that smoked when I attempted to use it. The electronic key system is frustrating, sometimes taking a dozen times to lock the door. This could be a great rental if better maintained (and more honest in the listing). I requested a partial refund from Taylor Made Deep Creek Rentals and was denied for reasons that aren’t clear to me. You didn’t deliver on what you advertised and charged me for. I would never rent from them again.

Relaxing retreat

Our group did a lot of hiking even though it snowed a bit - it’s April! We enjoyed coming back to watch movies together and we loved the hot tub with the snow all around us. Perfect getaway!
