Ideal for families or couples, this home provides room to relax both indoors and outdoors. Enjoy the warmth of a roaring wood-burning fireplace in the living room, a gas fireplace in the kitchen, and cozy bedrooms. The spacious deck is perfect for sipping your morning coffee, while the fire pit invites you to gather under the stars.



Whether you're exploring the area's ski slopes, hiking trails, or charming shops and restaurants, this is the perfect spot to unwind.

A fully equipped eat-in kitchen with a gas fireplace, perfect for preparing meals.

A car is recommended for getting around the area. The cabin is just a short drive from Ellicottville (6 miles) and other nearby attractions, including Holiday Valley Resort and Allegheny State Park. Parking is available on-site.



Other Things to Note:

🔥 Fireplace: We try to keep the wood-burning fireplace stocked with firewood for your convenience. Occasionally supply can run low. If you notice it’s getting low during your stay, let us know and we’re happy to arrange additional firewood.

💧 Well & Septic: The property operates on a private well and septic system with a water softener. This is common in the area and completely safe. We simply ask guests to be mindful of water usage and avoid flushing anything other than toilet paper.

Host was welcoming. We loved the layout of the house and throughly enjoyed the wood burning fireplace. It was very clean and had all the amenities to relax and not worry about a thing. We would love to visit in the fall to explore and enjoy the property. Wish they spent a little time with snow removal at the stairs, a bit challenging. They did a nice job plowing the driveway when we went into town.

Weekend getaway

Very peaceful long weekend getaway for my husband and I. We’re expecting our first in 2 months and wanted a little breather from work and all the baby prep. The cabin is cozy, and we checked out the shops on the Main Street of Ellicottville. It was the quiet retreat we were looking for.

This perfect rustic cabin is great for a much needed weekend getaway. New appliances, hot water, clean, everything is stocked and the perfect country view. We have referred multiple fiends for this location and we will be returning.

We stayed here to participate in the Halloween EVL Half Marathon and to celebrate my daughter's 22nd birthday. We loved the cozy "Yellowstone"-style western vibe, with some modern amenities, surrounded by beautiful country. The cabin was close enough to downtown but far enough to feel removed from the grind. Our host's communication was outstanding. We would love to return in the summer to hike ASP or in the winter to XC ski. Overall, we felt at home completing a jigsaw puzzle at the dining table and eating quiche and cinnamon rolls I baked for breakfast. I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did!

Beautiful scenery

Its beautiful scenery and so peaceful. The amount of stars we seen on the first night was amazing! The fireplace was so nice. We had wifi, but cell service was spotty. Our GPS dropped us a few houses away, my sons did the same thing, but we found it. Nice ppace we would definitely stay again.

Rustic with Modern Features - Great Stay!

My family really enjoys places like this: rustic and well-appointed without being over the top. Interior is cozy and relaxing, has all the things you’d expect to make a few nights away restful, and the centerpiece is the stone fireplace - of which we made ample use.Cabin is about 10 minutes south of Ellicottville, so easy drive to the slopes. When you’re done, you feel like you’re away from it all. We’d rent it again in a heartbeat!

Very well equipped

This rental was very well equipped and cozy. My friends and I had a very comfortable stay especially coming back from long days and nights of skiing. However, the trash can outside was full when we got there and we had to lean the bags against the can and the dishwasher was full, but overall we really enjoyed it and I definitely recommend booking this place

Off the beaten path

We really enjoyed our stay in early-Feb in the midst of a snowstorm! We were close enough to Holiday Valley for a day of skiing. The home was beautiful and very cozy! We all loved the decor, the ambience, and surroundings. It was very much relaxing and enjoyable to sit by a crackling fire and we had a difficult time leaving the house, because we were so comfortable and at home. We are looking forward to coming back to spend time outside when it's warmer on the patio, porch, and by the fire pit.

A treasured home and land

My husband and I and our two friends had a wonderful time here. We enjoyed our coffee around the outdoor fire pit the first morning, lounged around the kitchen table over homemade sour dough pancakes, fruit and eggs both mornings, played dominoes in the living room in the evening with the a fire going in the stone fireplace. I can tell this is a treasured home and land, because it’s all so well tended and decorated. We enjoyed listening to live music at Gin Mill Friday night. We had an invigorating 4.5 mile hike on Saturday, lucky us we had great weather. All had peaceful sleeps. A million thank yous to the host for sharing your home and land with us.

Great place but missing a couple of things

Cute cabin, was a good size for 4 people. We did have a couple of snags though. I had asked ahead of time about availability of wood for the fireplace and if the grill was going to be accessible. When we got there there was no wood for the fireplace but we were given a code to get into the woodshed the second day. After a full day of skiing we returned home looking forward to putting our steaks on the grill for dinner only to discover that there was no propane for the grill. Very disappointing after I had asked about both of those things prior to our arrival.
