The location of the property was perfect. Within walking distance of downtown and Grant's home, and next door to the Belvedere Mansion. The accommodations were great, too. Would stay again!

This was a girl's trip for my sisters and I. The property was perfect for our stay. The stairs were a bit of a hindrance to us but we knew that going in. We still made it up and down them several times! Location was pretty good, parking was easy and we met the owners father. He was very nice!

Perfect space for a girls weekend in Galena, walkable to downtown. We enjoyed the comfortable beds, antique furnishings and nice common living area. Our host responded promptly to questions. Our only minor issue was road construction making it slightly difficult to find the house.

We had such a wonderful experience. Host was great at communicating and was so kind to leave a few treats to enhance our stay. The accommodations were very quaint, comfortable and clean and appreciated that they stocked items just in case (toothbrush, shampoo, etc.). Parking was a big plus as was the very close proximity to downtown Galena- easy walk but far enough away from the hustle & bustle. Hope to stay again soon!
