We provide beach towels, pool floats, folding chairs for poolside and Beach, coolers for Beach, bedding/linens, bathroom towels, family-sized shampoo/shower gel, hair dryers, hair curler, hand soap, family-sized washer/dryer with laundry pods and dryer paper, iron and ironing board, Toddler high chair and portable playpen.

EARLY CHECK-IN 3 pm, LATE CHECK-OUT 12/noon, for your convenience.

Car passes with your last name will await you, with the 24/7 guard at Shipyard Main Gate at Hwy 278 (William Hilton Parkway).

CLEANING:
Entire place will be professionally cleaned between reservations. We adhere to at least one full day gap between checkouts and checkins to fully ventilate the entire house for you.

TO BEACH via PRIVATE SHIPYARD ACCESS:

Hidden Jade is located in beautiful, tranquil Shipyard, a gated community that extends to The Beach. This community has its own Beach access. We provide Shipyard Beach Club parking stamps! Atlantic Ocean, wide open, no land in sight, is only about a mile from You and Hidden Jade. An easy trek and You are at The Beach! 12 miles of pristine beach!

You can get to The Beach at Shipyard on foot by turning left out the front door and around the fairway, or by turning right down the side street. Both paths are paved, easy for bicycles, strollers and for walking too.

Or you can drive to, and park at, The Beach.

The Beach at Shipyard offers a more private atmosphere. For contrast, if you prefer, Coligny Beach and Plaza, just minutes outside Shipyard, sport more shops and venues, including Art Cafe, a large playground (Celebration Park and children's museum) and much more.

NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW:

Shipyard boasts 27-hole golf courses that can be played in three 18-hole combinations over 25 water hazards of lagoons and ponds, plus world-renowned Van Der Meer tennis courts, in addition to nearby endless selections of restaurants, waterfront dining, spas, shops, mini-golfs, all along easy bicycle paths, and two Tanger outlet malls a short drive away.

Multiple water events take you from exploring local oyster beds to visiting dolphin habitats and tidal basins.

Lagoons, flowering bushes, tall trees draped in Spanish moss year-round give your vacation the feel of Paradise on Earth.

GETTING AROUND:

Bicycles are a vacation favorite. The Island is lined with comfortable bicycle paths, and an abundance of activities are easily reached by this healthful mode. Multiple bicycle rental shops nearby will deliver and pick up.

There is even a company that rents surf boards, with delivery and pickup service.

Tour trolleys and ride-shares also abound.

Shipyard does not allow golf carts on any path or beach, only on golf courses.

WE the HOSTS:

"Hidden Jade" is hosted by Audrey and Frank (and our two little poodles).

We are local residents, not out-of-towners, and are in an adjacent attached unit off to the side of the main house, with separate entrance and an intervening enclosed vestibule (2 doors/2 walls, for your privacy and sound proofing). Thus, you will enjoy the advantage of us helping address any issue that may arise during your stay, if you choose to call us. Yet, we absolutely and fully respect your privacy. You will have exclusive use of the entire main house, both levels, all the bedrooms and bathrooms, kitchen, living room, dining room, Carolina room, laundry room, main entrance and back/side doors. And of course, pool, decks, grill, backyard and driveway will be exclusively yours. We will be out of your way, unless you call us to address an issue. So, win-win situation. In past seasons, several guests texted/called us with specific requests. And we were able to addressed all those, quickly and on the spot, all to the guests' benefit.

We very much wish every day for everyone will be shining and bright. But rains come, and no one can control that, at least not yet, not even on Hilton Head Island :-) So we ask your understanding that neither Vrbo nor we have a refund policy for bad weather.

STORMS and EVACUATIONS:

In the unlikely event of a government-issued evacuation recommendation, we ask you to agree in advance and adhere to any and all government-issued evacuation recommendations, first and foremost for You and Your loved ones' safety, and to preserve Hidden Jade property. We will follow Vrbo's refund policy for storms and other natural or man-made disasters. Obviously, we all hope there will be none of those.
