Overview: Relax in our delightful 5-bedroom, 2.5-bath retreat (please note, VRBO has not updated the bath information). With beach access just a short walk away, you’ll find it hard to choose between a day on the sand or lounging by your private pool.

ChillaVilla features a beautiful blend of cozy character and modern updates. It’s dog-friendly, so your furry companions can join in on the fun! Enjoy stunning views from the rooftop deck, and let the wall of windows in the great room fill the space with natural light and glimpses of the ocean. Imagine unwinding by the pool after a day at the beach, and take advantage of the convenient half bath located in the large laundry room.

Living Space: The bright, open-concept great room, dining area, and kitchen create an inviting atmosphere. The kitchen, equipped with new quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances, features a bar with a sink that overlooks the great room—perfect for family meal prep. The large island allows everyone to join in, and it’s an excellent spot for quick breakfasts after your morning beach walk. The dining table accommodates 10, and the bar seats 4.

Step out onto the screened porch to enjoy the refreshing ocean breeze—an ideal spot for relaxation. The great room is equipped with a 55-inch LCD TV, and each bedroom also has its own TV. Stay connected with high-speed internet and enjoy streaming services like Netflix, Prime, Disney+, and Discovery+, and ESPN+

Pool Season: Private pools are open from May 1, 2025, to October 3, 2025. Please note, the pool is not heated, and pets are not allowed in the pool area. An additional fee may apply for chemical balancing, cleaning, or damage that may require replacing the vinyl pool liner.
Provided Essentials: ChillaVilla supplies bed linens, bath towels, and a starter supply of toilet paper, bathroom soap, paper towels, and laundry/dishwasher detergent.

Great location! Short walk to the beach, with a great pool to enjoy. Plenty of room for our extended family of 13. Well supplied kitchen and great ocean views from the multiple decks. Great support from the owners when we had any questions. A wonderful stay!

Great place in Sandbridge!

We had an excellent time staying at this property. The location was amazing, the house was spacious and clean and the host’s Dave and Mary Ann were always quick to respond and assist us with any needs. Great pool as well for our family to hang out at. Awesome place and we had such a great vacation!

Wonderful Stay in Sandbridge!

We loved we were across the street from public access to the beach. The pool was sparkling clean - as was the home. We loved being able to sit on the roof top deck or the second floor deck to watch the beach or our neighbors. Loved our stay and would highly recommend!

Great family vacation home

Wonderful stay at Chilla Villa! We all felt very comfortable during our stay. Property owners were very responsive with any questions. The private pool was such a great extra and we found ourselves there more than the beach during the week. If we go back to VA, we will certainly see if Chilla Villa is available again.

Great place next to the beach

We enjoyed our stay here, it was clean, ample kitchen supplies for cooking and really close beach access. We took our dogs with us and it had a nice fenced in yard by the pool. The hosts were very attentive to our needs, nice people to deal with. We really enjoyed the screened in porch as well as sitting on the deck furniture looking out at the ocean, I have missed that since coming home.

This house had everything we needed or wanted for a beach stay for our family of 14. The owners were very prompt in answering questions prior to arrival, and check in was a breeze. We loved the pool which was very clean and maintained surrounded by very nice seating and tables. The kitchen and living room area was very spacious and had everything we needed for cooking simple meals. Beach access was the closest we’ve ever had, and the crows nest on the house was an added bonus for late night ocean viewing. There were multiple chain grocery stores close by for convenience, as well as other shopping stores. On Sandbridge Beach, we felt as if we were away from all the busy tourist areas of Virginia Beach, but close enough to visit which we did one evening. We loved Chilla Villa and highly recommend it for a larger family beach vacation. Thank you for a memorable family vacation.

Great location, great views, plus pool!

The house is incredibly close to the beach. You can see the ocean from the great room on the main floor, from the screened in porch, from the deck, and (of course) from the crow's next. The Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge is a 10-minute drive away and is a great place to fish. The pool and outdoor furniture are very nice. Good communication with the owners.

Great Beach House

Our family, plus our doggy, had a wonderful week at the Chilla Villa. The house was exceptionally well stocked for a beach house from our experiences. Very close to the beach with the path just a very short walk and being in the second row we had a nice view of the ocean, especially from the top most deck. We had little ones who really enjoyed the pool, which was well kept and had a nice variety of pool toys. Communication was perfect, although we really had no issues during our visit, and the house was ready for us a check in time on arrival day. Highly recommend! Also this was our first visit to Sandbridge and really enjoyed the area and the beach.

Great Stay at Sandbridge Beach

This house was AMAZING for our family vacation this year. It is right across from the ocean, only a few feet from an access boardwalk to the beach. It was our whole family (8 total) of 2 parents (50 y/o), and 3 kids with spouses (20-30 y/o) and there was plenty of space and stuff to do for everyone. Cornhole, pool, beach, streaming on televisions in every room, grilling on the deck, and star gazing on the birds nest deck. Dave and Maryanne (the owners) were quick to respond to all of our questions we had if we couldn’t find something or had a concern. Only a 25 minute drive to central Virginia Beach for the boardwalk, but plenty of stuff more local for dining options and small independent gift shops! Would recommend and come back again!

Close Beach Access

Even though we did not have ideal weather during our stay the house was perfect. The house has 4 upper bedrooms with an open living area. There is plenty of seating and views of the ocean. There is a lovely screened porch with lots of seating. The patio furniture in the back yard and on the front decking area are some of the nicest I've seen at a short term rental. Cross the street, walk down one house and you will arrive at the beach access. Sandbridge market has all the basics but there are a lot of food and shopping options 15 to 20 minutes away. The owners are very responsive and helpful. My favorite part of the house was people watching from the front deck!

Hidden gem

Nice open concept. Plenty of room to spread out. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. Nice beverage cooler and coffee station. Views of the ocean were wonderful. Pool was a bit chilly but it was only May and we had a windy week. We were able to utilize it for a few days though. Pool deck furniture was awesome! Lots of room and options. The owners were very easy to communicate/work with. Any need or issue they responded right away. They went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant as possible The only suggestions that I would make would be a dehumidifier in the lower level bunk room, as it was a bit humid. Also perhaps a gate that could be placed at the top of the staircase to prevent children / pups from taking a tumble. (Yes my crazy pup fell multiple times until we blocked them , but its because he wasn't used to his surroundings yet). And a hot tub would be magical lol but we enjoyed our stay very much and will rent from them again!! All in all we loved our stay. Very cute place and so close to the beach!

Lovely house

This is our second visit to Chilla Villa and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience. The house is well taken care of and the owners are incredibly kind and responsive.

Awesome House. Awesome Location.

The house was fantastic and it’s a 5-minute walk to the beach. The pool was really nice, especially on the few 90-degree days we had. Mary Ann was wonderful as well. We would rent Chilla Villa again without reservation. Bonus: Walmart and Target both deliver, so we were able to get a few things we forgot to pack without sacrificing beach/pool time!
