The Space:
This is a generously sized room at The Inn At Mazama, furnished with a king bed and queen size fold-out couch. The sliding doors open out onto a covered deck and the Inn’s garden. This is one of two similar sized units. One of which is our ADA compliant room with an extra large shower, folding seat and support rails; the other has a jetted tub. The Pine rooms are located in a four-plex annex building connected to the main lodge by a covered walkway. These are pet-friendly rooms conveniently with their own direct garden access, ideal for bringing your well-behaved dog.
The Neighborhood:
MAZAMA
We are located right in the heart of Mazama very close to the Mazama Store and the Methow Trails trailhead (for great hiking, mountain biking and cross-country ski trails). In addition to the store with its great bakery and grocery, Mazama is home to the Goat’s Beard outdoor store (with mountain bike and fat bike rentals) and the Mazama Ski School for cross country ski hire and lessons. The Mazama Public House is set to open summer 2022. Please see our website for our seasonal activity guides with trail suggestions and more visitor info
NORTH CASCADES NATIONAL PARK
We are conveniently situated for easy access to the North Cascades and the trailheads to many of the Park's world-class hiking trails. It’s a 20 minute drive to the Cutthroat Lake trailhead, 25 minutes to Washington Pass and 30 minutes to Maple Pass trailhead. Great for beating the crowds and snagging a trailhead parking spot at peak seasons.
Getting Around:
Getting here: May to November, from Seattle and the westside, you can drive over State Route 20 and Washington Pass (check WSDOT for closures). Alternate, and winter routes from Seattle are via I90, Snoqualmie Pass and Blewett Pass, or via highway 2 over Stevens Pass (check WSDOT for driving conditions). Combine these routes and you have the scenic Cascade Loop. The nearest major airports are Spokane International Airport at 180 miles (year round) and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (190 miles in summer / 260 miles in winter). Regional flights are also available at Pangborn Memorial Airport in Wenatchee located 102 miles away.
Getting Around: Our location is walking distance from the Mazama Store and Trailhead. Winthrop is under 20 minutes drive / 14 miles south on 20. Methow Motion provides a private car service throughout the Methow valley.
Other Things to Note:

We really enjoy staying at The Inn At Mazama. It was quiet and clean room with a comfortable King bed, and a quiet AC/heater. There was a nice restaurant and a grocery store nearby. It was perfect place to stay and go hiking. We will definitely go back there!

Very beautiful scenery! Very relaxing! Very spacious and good condition!
My husband and I stayed at Mazama Inn in October. The staff was very helpful with check-in process and ensuring we had everything necessary for our stay. The rooms were well stocked with glasses, coffee, shampoo and the beds were AMAZING from a comfort point of view.
We look forward to visiting again.
Property was lovely and views are beautiful. Walked to the brewery for a beer when we arrived and walked to the store for breakfast in the morning for coffee and bagel sandwich. Bed comfortable too. Only downside, walls are thin. Neighbor had a young baby so heard crying most of the night and in the morning.
I LOVED our sweet cozy room! It was spacious and had a fireplace and a very clean, nice, comfortable bathroom! I wish we could have stayed longer! It's even nicer than in the pictures! I want to go back!!!
We were in Pine room 16 and it was spotlessly clean. We were pleasantly surprised by an air purifier/UV filter unit which was greatly welcome since we were there during smokey conditions. We didn’t realize that the dining room was only open on weekends and only for breakfast so that is something to check before a visit. The bed was very comfortable, the refrigerator sufficiently large( no freezer compartment), great sitting area. We recommend this room.
