Lovely apartment, Incredible View

My husband and I had a wonderful stay in Wengen for 4 nights. The beautiful view from the back patio looked down into the Lauterbrunnen valley and we often sat on the back balcony to enjoy it. The kitchen had everything we needed and there was even a washer and dryer on the premises. Interhome made the key pick up easy and would definitely use this company again.

Switzerland trip

We loved the condo! The condo was super clean including bathroom, linens, kitchen. It has espresso machine. It comes with a gorgeous view of Alps. It was enjoyable to sit on the balcony in the evening and enjoy the view. It is cool at night so you don’t need to turn on air conditioning. The apartment is located 5-10 from the train station.

A fantastic stay at Wengen! Thank you.

A well appointed flat, minutes from the train station, supermarket and bakery, yet on the outskirts of the village so very quiet and with amazing views. A flock of sheep were grazing on the small field opposite with their bells ringing. Bliss! Weather was amazing allowing us to use the balcony area. Plenty of hot water, excellent powerful shower, bedding and linen all clean. Felt like home. Also a thank you to the amazing customer service of INTERHOME. We hope to return.

Great view, basic accommodation

Amazing view and enjoyable deck. On the edge of town, so a little bit of a walk from the train station, but allows for a quieter location. The accommodations are basic -- a low, uncomfortable bed, flat pillows, one throw. Kitchen had no consumable supplies (other than salt & pepper): no paper towels, plastic wrap or foil. Has a corporate rather than homey-touches feel. Internet is very slow and fails regularly -- had to power cycle router at least once every day. Interhome does NOT use VRBO platform for communication, so messages to them go unanswered. Still, a clean and functional unit.

Dear Fred, Thank you for your feedback. We're glad to hear you enjoyed the view and the quiet location. As stated in the property description, the equipment is kept simple, and consumables are not provided. Regarding communication, please note that Interhome operates with an on-site local team and a multilingual 24-hour hotline to support guests during their stay. For urgent matters, we recommend contacting us directly via these channels, rather than through a Vrbo messaging system. We appreciate your comments and are happy you found the unit clean and functional. Kind regards, Interhome

Small and dark

The apartment is quite well situated and has a good view. It is adequately, if sparsely, furnished and equipped. Lighting is poor - no bedside or reading lights, with ugly and ineffective column lights in the living space. The bathroom was smelly. The bedroom has no natural light, because the narrow door/window opens into sub-ground-level space with public access so has to remain curtained. This also means the room cannot be ventilated at night, as the door has to be locked for security.

Ferien in Wengen

Response from VrboOwner on 28 Apr 2021
