Sherry was always very repsonsive to all our questions.Our stay was from Feb 15-22. Our group myself, my wife, 3 grandsons 20,21, and 24 and a grandaughter 10. Our purpose was to get these southern boys out on snowboards, we went mon-fri with wed-fri being good conditions considering the lack of snow out west overall. We skiied at Sunlight Mountain, a great place for beginning skiiers and a third of the cost of Snowmass.Sherry's house is outstanding, located on the roaring fork river, would have been great fishing warm weather.The house has fully stocked kitchen, although we are by no means gourmet cooks. The living room has beautiful big windows with a view of the river and yard. Very relaxing to just sit in the room, also has a nice fireplace we used one evening. A grand piano for those with some musical talent. The dinning room area has a long table seating about 10 with skylights overhead to illuminate the area during the day.There are 3 bedrooms upstairs, a large master and 2 smaller bedrooms, on the mainfloor is another bedroom and a room with a daybed someone can sleep in.There is also a huge TV room with a large TV and sectional coach the boys made use of anytime they weren't at Sunlight mountain. There is also a nice hot tub that the boys were too tired to use, except the first night there. Since my wife no longer skiis she spent most of the days at the house along with my grandaughter when she didn't go skiing. They really enjoyed being at the house

Heaven on the River

This property was perfect for our family of 8. The huge waterfront access was great for trout fishing and the grand piano and ping pong table provided hours of entertainment. The host was awesome and responded within minutes to the few questions that we had. We will definitely stay here again!

We had an unforgettable stay at this beautiful home in Glenwood Springs. The location is absolutely perfect—right on the river and just a short trip to the hot springs and everything else the area has to offer. The house itself was spotless, beautifully designed, and packed with thoughtful amenities that made our stay incredibly comfortable.From mornings on the patio with coffee and the sound of the river, to evenings spent relaxing in the cozy living space, everything exceeded our expectations. Rainy but beautiful

We rolled the dice with a spring trip and ran into quite a lot of snow and rain through our trip. Besides that our stay was great, the pictures do not do this property justice. Even being trapped inside most of the trip it’s still great with the beautiful views from inside and the sound of the river.

Christmas in Winterland

What an unbelievable home! My family, my brother's family and our parents stayed in this beautiful home for a week over Christmas. It was the absolute perfect place to enjoy some family time and take in all the Valley has to offer. The area is conveniently nestled between Glenwood Springs and Carbondale and just a stone's throw to Aspen. We love to cook and the house had everything we could ever need to enjoy holiday feasts. The views were spectacular and the kids loved watching the ducks and geese playing in the river. The hot tub was my personal favorite. I can't wait to come back and see this gorgeous home in the summer. Can't recommend enough!

This is one of the cleanest properties we have ever rented. It was well stocked with supplies as well as pots/pans, dishes, and the house is properly maintained. The property is beautiful along the river and nicely landscaped. Easy access (.6 miles) to Rio Grande Trail. Close to Carbondale and upper valley hiking trails. Three bedrooms up with 1 ensuite bath and a shared bath for 2 bedrooms. Two ‘bedrooms’ downstairs have 1/2 bath and full bath to share. There is ample common area for sitting and relaxing together. The property is private, I would return. Owners were helpful as well.

Magnificent Property on the Roaring Fork

The house is beautiful and extremely well appointed. The photos do not do it justice. The garden is amazing with all sorts of flowers and plants. The outdoor setting called us from the beginning. Supplies are more than plentiful and the host is very generous. Communication with the host was easy and speedy. Hopefully we will have a chance to return and spend more than one week at this idyllic location. Definitely a 5 Star.

Christmas on the River

We are veteran VRBO users and this was the best provisioned house we have stayed in. The house is as beautiful as shown in the photos and the owners were incredibly responsive and helpful. Our family of 5 adults and 2 young children had plenty of room to spread out and to be together.

Super clean comfortable property. Great location close to Glenwood Springs, Carbondale, Basalt and 30 minutes to Aspen airport. The manager is very nice and great to deal with. The Roaring Fork Golden Medal Trout waters are in the back yard! We float fished with a professional guide down the Roaring Fork and caught numerous big trout right in front of this house! I can't say enough good things about the place and will booking for next year! i won't be redundant here but read the other reviews and they will state some of what i would say. Fantastic place!

Wonderful Experience at River House

Everything about this house is first class! The owner has gone to great lengths to ensure the comfort of her guests. All the light switches and door locks are labeled so that you don't have to guess. The kitchen is extremely well stocked, along with all of the other incidentals. Sitting by the river is so relaxing. This is the perfect place for families ... we can't wait to go back!

Riverhouse heaven

Such a beautiful place. Secluded, yet 10 minutes from town from everything you need - groceries, dining, fishing supplies, and adventure gear. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. Best Hot tub ever in a rental. Fishing right out the door, and hiking close by, too. My family loved it and we'll be back!

Wonderful River front house

We had a wonderful relaxing time at this gorgeous river front hime. The useable grass space on the property was larger than we thought which was great for our young kids. Its all backyard. We went and got a soccer ball and football for outside fun with the kids if that gives you an idea of how much open space you have. Sherry the owner was very accommodating and helpful overall a great host to work with. We had a lot of rain so the river was a little murky but that didn't stop us from playing and fishing in the river. We caught fish right in front of the house!! The tv’s in every room was very helpful so we all had our own space and quiet time. The mattresses and beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms updated and clean. Upstairs can get warm at night but with a crack of the windows it was great. The house was stocked with all you would need in the kitchen we didn't eat out once after a grocery store visit. No shortage of toiletries,detergents, soaps, napkins, etc. Which was a A+ for convenience and comfort. I hope i get the chance to stay here again soon!!

After your stay, we realized the A/C condenser, had a coating of cotton from the shedding Cottonwood trees, which prevented it from working optimally. A River Runs Through It!

We spent 5 nights on this amazing property. It was a fantastic getaway. We do a lot of rental property stays and this was the most well furnished and welcoming. The owner was very communicative and helpful. The view from the deck and backyard is a utopia of sights, sounds, and smells, as the river passes by. The pictures on the listing don’t do the property justice. It’s a one of a kind rental. We will be back!

This home was perfect for our family vacation. We had everyone with us... teens, adult children with spouses, and a grandbaby and there was plenty of space to gather and also space to spread out. The backyard was a soothing spot with blooming flowerbeds, the river, a hot tub, firepit, and plenty of seating. Sherry and Stephen were great hosts and very attentive. Beautiful place to relax and spend time with family

This place is very lovely, clean, and new. Huge backyard and you can access the river right from the backyard. Every day I enjoyed watching the sunset from the deck and listening to the calming river soundtrack in the background. There’s a beautiful sunroom and blooming flower plants inside of the house. We used the jacuzzi every night. The host Sherry was very nice and responsive, and she accommodated our schedule well since we have an infant. Overall, it was an awesome experience and we will definitely come back again!

Dreamed house by the river !

We were wondering if the house in the pictures was real, we got there and it was even better, sparkly clean, renovated, every appliance had little sign explaining how to use it, every place had what we needed, a well equipped house, even logs to light up the fire were provided and gas for the fire table outside, plenty of space to enjoy with the family and to have each of us our space alone too, big smart tvs, everything works perfect! And thanks to the host who was not invasive as other hosts but managed to be there by text message to let us know everything and showed herself available if we needed her at all times. We had an amazing time and we will be forever thankful 😊😊😊
