Three stories offer accommodations for everyone. You're just 20 minutes from major ski resorts! There are activities for outdoor enthusiasts all year long and roads are plowed regularly, making it an easy drive in the winter months.
Lower Level You enter at ground level into a large mudroom equipped with plenty of counter space, storage for your gear, and full size washer/dryer. There is also one of two master suites on this level complete with its own electric fireplace and full private bath.
Main Floor Located on the 2nd story, the main floor includes a large, open-concept kitchen, dining room, family room and full guest bathroom. The second master suite also has its own fireplace and private bathroom. The wrap-around deck offers awesome treetop views and a stainless steel gas grill.
3rd Story Loft The 1000sq ft loft is open and spacious, offering great views from the top of the cabin along with plenty of entertainment for your group, including sleeping accommodations for 10 people, a lounge area with large TV, and pool table/air hockey/fuze ball game center.
*Please Note: Winter weather in the Sierras can pose driving challenges to travelers when it snows. Although roads are plowed regularly, travelers should check local road conditions and follow recommended guidelines for 4wd/chain requirements. Our community is paved and regularly maintained. We make every attempt to plow the driveway for our guests to accommodate parking and easy access to the cabin, but occasionally weather prevents us from doing so. When vehicles are unable to park in the driveway, guests will need to park at the bottom near the road and be prepared to walk up the 100 ft driveway. We will notify you of driveway access in advance of your trip so that you may prepare.
Additionally, for the safety of our property and our guests, we have a security camera (Ring Doorbell) located at the front entrance, limited to surveillance of guest entry.

Amazing place to stay. Would definitely stay here again
We were looking for just a quick getaway to get away from regular life. This place was amazing. Sarah was an awesome host and communicator. We could not have asked for a better time.
Sarah was such a great host. We have enjoyed the place. This was our second time to stay for our annual ski trip. It took us half an hour to Boreal ski resort. Location is great! Highly recommend!
The stay was great, the property was well stocked with all the amenities we needed. The kids loved the loft space and the toys. Sarah was quick to respond and check in was super easy. We went to a couple different lakes and rivers, but the kids favorite was the pennyweight trail and just stopping about halfway to swim the river. We would definitely stay again!
The Skyline cabin was absolutely fantastic, very clean and had everything you could need. The location was perfect for our family to go visit the snow and my wifes favorite ski resort. There was a nice little restaurant very close by which was convenient, along with a market that we were able to pick up things we had forgotten to pack. Plus Sarah was so amazing to deal with, we cannot wait to go back!!! Highly recommend!!!
We had an amazing time at this beautiful cabin. Spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. Easy location, very close to highway 80. Sarah and her husband were great to deal with. we had a great time playing in the snow right there. Will absolutely be back.
The cabin was excellent! It was beautiful and comfortable! My family and I had a great time spending New Year’s here. It was conveniently close to the freeway so it’s easy to get in and out. Every room was stocked with essentials and made it family friendly especially with kids around. Sarah, the host, was a superb host! Communicating with her was a breeze, response time was fast and timely. Thank you Sarah for sharing with us this beautiful cabin!
The home was very clean and everything looked new. We never had to leave because there was a sledding hill right out front, which was perfect for us since some kids were done after a hour and some stayed out all day. There is a huge mud room which was great to take off all snow clothes and not have to bring anything inside the house. Only thing I wish the house had was some card or board games. My whole family had a blast. We will be staying here again!

We are so happy that families can enjoy the property together! Great feedback about the board games and, in fact, we have several games that will be available there very soon for families to enjoy together. We LOVE that Skyline Cabin can help build family memories and we LOVE return guests!
Clean property but make sure to review the rental agreement
The place was clean and has a lot of space. We had an issue with the wifi and the tvs not connecting to the wifi when we got there but after communicating to the host, we were able to get it fixed. Make sure to read the rental agreement, the published rate is good for only 5 guests so there was an extra fee per person per night. It was a surprise to me since it was last minute when my friend her family joined us. The host was very considerate and patient.

No A/C. House never cooled down. Miserably hot
House is beautiful but no epuiped to stay in the summer heat. No A/C and was hot the whole time we were there. Had to leave a day earlier because couldn't handle the hot house anymore. Reached out to owner about leaving early annd didn't get a response.
Plenty of space and all that one would need to enjoy time away from home. My family had the best time and I can't say enough about how pleased we were with our host and our stay. They have thought of everything! Just pack your clothes and enjoy a home away from home.
Far from the hustle in Tahoe region, one of the best log cabin!
Very spacious, amazingly decorated and very well equipped cabin in a very quiet neighborhood. We had a great time exploring nearby hikes in Nevada county and Donner area.
We appreciate the cabin is located close to the freeway. The cabin has a good functional kitchen and 3 fully bathrooms. The top floor loft is a plus with room to sleep and much entertainment.
We had a wonderful stay, thanks for hosting us.
We absolutely loved this cabin and will definitely be returning. Our kids loved the loft! The mudroom at the entrance was spacious and super convenient for getting in and out of our snow clothes. There was a room and bathroom on the ground level that was also convenient for having the kids go potty before getting geared up for the snow. The living room and loft TVs had firesticks which was a nice surprise. There was plenty of space in the side yard for snow fights and sledding. The neighborhood was quiet and easily accessible. I asked Sarah a few questions during our stay and she was super responsive and helpful.
I could not be happier with my choice to book this cabin. Sarah was an absolute pleasure to communicate with and ensured that our stay was perfect. The cabin is exceptionally clean and well stocked. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the mud room is huge and perfect for snowboard gear after a long day on the mountain. The number of beds is incredible, very hard to find someplace with so many. Great location, great experience! Will absolutely book again!
Super experience staying at this cabin. We had the sweetest time together. The kiddos enjoyed playing both outdoors and indoor. We all slept upstairs in the loft together, much to their delight. There was everything you could need, from kitchen supplies to heaps of children's indoor toys and games.
It was a fairly quick drive from the Bay Area to Sarah's cute cabin. Our entire family if 12 loved staying here for some snowy fun. The yard is great for sledding and snowball fights, so the kids were very happy. They also enjoyed the loft where all the cousins could sleep together in one room. The living room and kitchen were spacious, clean and modern. There was plenty of cooking pans, utensils, seasoning, etc... Everyone loved the generous k-cup offerings for use in the kitchen as well. The beds were comfortable, clean, and everyone had room to spread out. The pellet stove keeps the place VERY warm. The downstairs mudroom is fantastic for keeping all the wet snow clothes and boots in order. We didn't realize how close the cabin was to interstate 80, but the sound definitely was not an issue...if anything it just sort of sounded like wind blowing through the trees. Sarah was easy to communicate with and responsive. Would recommend anyone to stay here. You are sure to have a wonderful time!
We loved our stay at this cabin!
It is amazingly clean, organized. Had everything we needed, the owner was so helpful when we needed her and helped us quickly.
The neighborhood is quietly, a few we saw very friendly.
We where able to play in the snow right outside the home.
The only two small details is one, the water is extremely hot in the shower so if you have kids make sure you regulate the shower well before the kids are in, in a very small, tinny move and the water comes extremely hot (shared bathroom in main floor) so just be aware of that.
And the second we couldnt connect the tv in the loft to the internet so we couldnt use it. It didnt matter much because the kids had fun with the games provided. Many board games wherent complete but we made it work.
I appreciate the baby gates installed although we didnt have any infants with us, but as a foster mom ai appreciate all safety, and this is a VERY safe cabin for little ones and babies. Even has all outlets covered.
The beds are AMAZINGLY comfortable! All our friends and family where talking how nice their beds where. Linnens are amazingly clean and I loved the cleaning closet had everything we needed to keep it clean.
We loved the mudroom because we didnt have to bring everything upstairs. We used the dryer for the kids snowsuits and organized there so it was easy to use them up again for the next time. We had the nost wonderful time at this cabin and would completely recomend it to others! I wish we had gotten more time!
Plenty of blankets, sheets, extra linnens, towels for everyone. Plenty of dishes, cups and even kids dishes. The place was pristine clean and I really appreciate that!
