Amazing location with beautiful beach access

5/23/2024,we stayed 4 days and loved it, very beautiful place, easy to find and after seeing some other buildings,we believe we picked the best one for group, great view with clean beaches

Condo was nice. However there were a few issues with household items. Garbage disposal did not work. Freezer leaked into the refrigerator. Main floor toilet sometimes stuck when flushing. The smaller bathroom in the upstairs bedroom smelled like a cat litter box, so we kept that door shut and did not use it. Bed skirts on beds were torn. The view was great! Our kids enjoyed the double balconies and watching the ocean. Ease of getting to the room was nice. Overall, we liked our stay.

Pre-Memorial stay

Condo is in great location, updated kitchen, love dual balconies and new mattress’. Only down fall is carpet upstairs and on stairs are gross definitely not desirable for beach lifestyle. Also, Mold on ceiling of guest bedroom - which is where our daughter was supposed to sleep. Her allergies were so affected she had to sleep on pullout couch and unable to use guest room. Please remove carpet and address guest room ceiling mold and the condo will be perfect!. Also, loved the fact that 2 beach chairs and umbrella included .

Unit 46 - week of 6/20

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we were very happy with our stay - we love Silver Dunes! However, a couple of things were a little irritating. I'm not sure if the property is under new management, but some of the old policies like allowing early check in if you arrive prior to 4 pm, towel exchange service, etc., were much preferred to the new policies. I certainly understand the wait to check in is covid-19-related, but if not, there's no reason not to allow access. Likewise, if the office hours on Friday are until 4:30, it's disappointing to walk up at 4:15 to discover the office closed - I even called and got the answering service. We were actually going to check on the possibility of staying an extra night, but since no one was available, we decided to save our money instead. Some of our friends in other properties also had their thermostats locked to where they couldn't lower the temperature below 70 degrees. Ours wasn't like that, so maybe that's an issue with the condo owner, but it was irritating when you have a large group in the place that you can't cool things down.Finally, the new beach chair service is fine, but their prices are a bit ridiculous. I figured they would go up from when George managed it, but to go up that much, THEN charge an additional $5.00 per day for tables is taking it a bit too far. I would suggest they include tables in their standard price. I would also hope that the beach service would work a little harder to make sure people from SunDestin and other properties aren't setting up in the Silver Dunes area. I noticed a lot more people moving into Silver Dunes' space than I ever have before. I'd also like to see the additional extra beach space to the right of the private area be added back to allow for more spacing. Overall we were very happy with our unit, and had a fun just felt like things were "nickel & dimed" a good bit more this time, and that's not what we expect at a long-standing place like Silver Dunes.

Great family vacation at silver Dunes #46

The two bedrooms upstairs and both with a bath was nice and the laundry up there. Loved our stay and definitely would come again
