It was our first time to Myrtle Beach, the beach was clean, the water was was not cold and very calm for our stay. Loved to pools and lazy river. Our condo was clean and spacious. Staff friendly and helpful.

Pools were nice and location to beach was great. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We booked this place because we were going to the CCMF. It was much farther away than what we were told so that was very disappointing.

When we arrived, our room was not clean. There was dried urine on the toilet.

The manager and 3 employees came in to clean our room after my complaint. I am grateful it was taken care of.

Not happy at all!!

The unit was very outdated with the horrible carpet and living room/dining room furniture. The unit smelled so bad!! It also felt very moist and carpet felt almost wet. I’m also pretty positive there was mold all over the ceiling In the living room.

Locked out twice

The condo itself is beautiful and centrally located to great local spots. We walked everywhere the whole time. Twice, management changed the code to the door without telling us. There’s no email or online way to get the code so we had to go all the way back to the lobby and wait in a long slow line at the desk. As a single parent with 2 kids who after swimming we’re wet and cranky, this was a pain that took up to 45 minutes to get back into our room. We complained and were essentially ignored. There are discounts and free mini golf only if you keep the loose paper coupon they give you. It’s 2023, why this isn’t a digital coupon is confusing. We lost ours and we’re hosed because they offered no replacement process even if we offered to pay. And lastly, the staff rudely called and accused us of smoking weed. Someone definitely was smoking weed but it wasn’t us and instead of asking they just called the room and made accusations. No apologies later. So overall, I wouldn’t stay here again.

Loved the view

King bed in master was horrible, Black mold in the vent over bed also growing on the closet doors. The huge step in tub, we hated it Be careful it’s a bug step in a slippery tub lol! Overall we had an ok stay. I normally stay in the south are. From kids throwing watermelon rines and hard boiled eggs down at families at the pool side… Not ok! Elevators worked fast parking was fair and the breakfast buffet was perfect!

The room had a perfect view, we had plenty of room, and it was a overall good experience. The room needs a good deep cleaning and a few updates (clean tiles in tub/grout, steam clean floors and couches, update mattresses and outdoor furniture). Small but nice pools. Friendly staff and nice perks with stay! We would definitely come back.

1830 Great view, nice space but low on amenities

Good: beds were super comfortable, plenty of space for a family of five, the views were amazing. The soaker tubs were nice and there is plenty of plates and cups. Bad: No water pressure I either shower!!!! This unit didn't have any pots and pans that were in decent enough shape to cook in the unit. The refrigerator shelf was broken but still functional. The washer and dryer are older and super loud. Carolinian: My biggest complaint was the elevator drilling going on during our stay. I received an email advising it was going to happen and that I had the option to change. When I called to do that they were adamant that it wasn't going to be in our side of the units. Not only was it loud but it reduced elevators to two working for all the units in that tower. We called down to guest services four different times for laundry detergent and towels over the course of the day only to end up having to go down and get them ourselves at 9:00 p.m.

Perfect view!

Love- view is best in place! Nice size rooms & space) Beds are comfortable. Easy access to Beach. Updated kitchen counters. Clean. Few times we needed housekeeping, they came quick. Awesome balcony view & space (can get in from primary room & living room). Could do better - safety at times (doors left unlocked a lot to get into elevator). Refrigerator had some broken shelves. Toilets took forever to flush, def need replaced. Heavy rain some water leaked into primary bedroom from slider. Tubs need caulked. No pool towels (they said it was a shortage). Dryer would leave fuzzy things on clothes.

Home Away From Home

The Carolinian proved that lodging don't have to be expensive to stay at a clean comfy home away from home. This rental was VERY clean. The furniture was in good condition. The beds and pillows were clean and comfy. The kitchen/dishes/utensils were very clean. We will definitely request this rental again! The whole property was clean and inviting. The Carolinian is by far the best resort yet and we have stayed at a few over the years.
