I was sent a template email 4 days before arriving to the property. Check-in was stated to be at 3pm but there was nothing listed stating that I could not check in later that evening after I got off work.
I arrived around 7:30-8pm and I could not use the Maps address that was provided due to the link being incorrect and the physical address sent me to two different locations. I drove around looking for any indication that there was a rental property in the area, and could not find even an address on any of the buildings and the place that I was sent to already had people in it. I messaged the host, who did not provide any other contact information. There must have been a technical error with not only the link but also the chat as it took her 30min to response (the chat said only 6 minutes but that was not correct). When she did respond I had already needed to find a place to stay due to a really early flight. The only response I received was “I already gave you the address”.
No call to me. No concern at all.
I did call VRBO and I was told that because the host has a great response rate to guests there was nothing they could do for me to refund me the cost of my stay.
I do not recommend this place to anyone to be honest. Not being able to find the location. No way to figure out where it was in the dark and the location that was provided to me sending me to a home that was occupied gives me safety concerns for a person traveling alone in an unknown area.
