Wonderful Stay at a Beautiful Property

This unit checked all of the boxes for a terrific family vacation with small children. Plenty of space and amenities for the 6 of us. Cape San Blas and Barrier dunes are the perfect serene, clean, and quiet location for a week at the beach.

Rest and Relaxation at its best

We had a wonderful time. A short walk to the beach, and even shorter to the pool. Condo was roomy and well equiped. Ken even made sure we had bikes! Very enjoyable.

EXCELLENT STAY!

My family and I enjoyed this property and what it had to offer! The condo was clean & Comfortable. The pool was not even a minute walk , and the beach was less than a 5 minute walk! There’s also a huge pond in which you will see turtles, which you will see when you are looking out from the patio! 10/10 stay!

We enjoyed our stay at this CLEAN property. The owner communicated well with us and responded in a timely manner to our questions. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes/pots/pans. Our teenagers enjoyed riding the beach cruisers.

Great location

We’ve been coming to The Cape for many years. This was the second time in Barrier Dunes. This is a great location, close to the State Park which we like and great location in Barrier Dunes as it is right by the pool and pickle ball court and overlooks a pond that is full of turtles. There were bikes available too which was a great amenity. We would stay here again.

great vacay locale

this condo is conveniently located in the gated Barrier Dunes, close to pool and short walk to beach. bikes available and beach chairs so didn't need to bring those! the blinds on the doors need replacing. all other needs met.

excellent mixture

This was our first time in Cape San Blas. Check in with Ken was very easy He got back to us with every question we had quickly and was very communicative with us! The townhouse was right across from the pool which made it easy to run back and forth if we needed something at the house. Also, an easy 5 minute walk to the beach so we rarely had to drive unless going out for dinner. Overall a great time and we will be back!

Coffee On The Porch!

This condo is very well maintained. The kitchen truly lacks for nothing. The family room furniture is comfortable. I slept in the king size bed and it was very comfortable, also. The bathrooms are adequate in size. We loved the screened in porch for morning coffee and sunrise!

Huge Surprise

After 17 years coming to the Cape, we were so surprised to find this one equipped unbelievably well ! Everything one could expect and tons more that were unexpected. Very clean and convenient to the pool and just a short walk to the beach.

You won't be disappointed!

This house was perfect for our family. It had everything we needed to enjoy our week at the cape. It overlooks the swimming pool and is a short walk to the beach. We have stayed at many units in Barrier Dunes and this is our favorite! The beds and furniture are comfortable. Plenty of linens were provided as well as beach towels and a beach cart. We loved the screened in porch overlooking the pond. Ken was wonderful to work with and made checking in and out a breeze and when we return to the cape, we will definitely stay here!

Great Stay!

This place has all you need to enjoy your time at the Cape! We loved the location as it was super close to the pool and only a short walk to the beach. We had a 17month old with us who is constantly on the move. We were a bit concerned with the stairs and I texted Ken regarding baby gates and where we might be able to buy two. He brought us two new gates to secure the stairs. Honestly, I have zero complaints with the stay! We look forward to returning soon!

Late spring getaway

My husband and I like to escape the long Midwest winter and return home just as WI spring weather starts. The uncrowded, laid back atmosphere of Cape San Blas was so relaxing. This condo is conveniently located near one of the two shared pools. The beach is just a short stroll through the paved condo community. Due to the " hurricane/ flood" proof building style, be aware there are two 15 step staircases to navigate, in case this may be an issue. Our host, Ken, was great at communicating the check in and check out process, as well as timely reply to a few questions we had. A person can survive on the eateries and small grocery store in Cape San Blas, but be prepared for a longer car trip to Port St. Joe if wanting more variety . My husband had the misfortune of a medical emergency, but we are pleased to attest to the prompt EMS response to the condo, and quality care he received at Ascension Bay Medical in Panama City.

Nice week on the Cape!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Barrier Dunes. Ken, the property manager was extremely responsive and easy to work with. The townhouse was in a great location right across from the pool and a little bit of a walk to the beach. We loved being across from the pool as we were able to bring my big kids to swim while the baby was napping and my baby monitor reached perfectly. We ran out of propane and Ken quickly got us another tank. Aside from a few stains on the carpet , the door to the porch from the twin room being very difficult to close and would pop open if not locked, the blinds on the sliding doors being difficult to slide and missing some of the panels, and the decor being a little out dated the house was great! I would recommend bringing your own beach chairs as the ones that are at the house are quite small, rusted, and have broken straps. The beach cart was actually great and super helpful. I would definitely stay in one of Ken's properties in the future!

We had a great time. We would love to have had a state park pass because the beach area was crowded at the Barrier Dunes. We ended up driving to the State Park.

Great unit

Unit had every item we needed, very quick walk to the beach access and perfect location over the pool. Getting into the unit was a breeze and we had no issues through out our stay. Highly suggest!

Blast at Cape San Blas

Great home and location! We found the grill was out of propane and purchased another. The owner was very helpful when we told him about it, he explained there was a replacement on the property and reimbursed us for our cost for the refill.
