Small, clean & quiet

The cabin was small, clean & quiet. No TV or WiFi. Beautiful view of Canada. Since it rained, a lot, we enjoyed the screened in porch. Good location for fishing. Large dock for boats.

I grew up in St. Clair Shores, Mi. Upon graduation, I went to Michigan State University, where I majored in Physical Education & coaching Basketball & Baseball.
Upon getting married, we sailed up to Harbor Springs where my old Basketball coach used to Capt. a 45' Chris Craft boat for a stockbroker out of NYC. I told Kathy , you have to see HS. Upon arrival in our 24' sailboat, we fell in love with the area. We secured jobs , found a rental on Walloon Lk & were there for 9 months, but had to leave, so we rented a mooring in HS & lived in the Harbor for the summer. Our landlord, felt bad about asking us to leave & let us stay yr round for 4 yrs.
After that, we found a nice home with a separate rental & it opened our eyes to the idea of owning rentals.
As a school teacher, having the summers off, we found a small resort for sale on Sugar Island, which we have now owned for 34 yrs.
For those of you from the Detroit area & remember Sonny Elliot, the weatherman on WXYZ, he used to mention having a weather station, somewhere between Paradise & Purgatory Pte. We purchased, half of Purgatory Pt. 34 yrs ago.
It's just BEAUTIFUL HERE, with, to boot, good fishing.
Come share the experience.

What makes this property unique

The view of the Canadian Islands. The sunrises in the morning as the cabins face east & the view is AWESOME. The cabins are close to the sandy beach and the fishing is good for walleye, pike , small & large mouth bass and perch.
