This is a perfect spot to sip your wine with your love and just relax near the water.

Escape to Tadpole Cottage

Tired of the 4th of July fireworks in our neighborhood that would traumatize our dog, we found the Tadpole Cottage to be the perfectly quiet 4-night retreat.

Awesome country vibe to unwind/relax

Tadpole cottage was a sweet destination to chill in the countryside for a few days. Although the weather was hot and there is no air conditioning, the place stayed nice and cool at night and was easy to sleep. The ducks were so cute and personable we had a great hang. Town is close enough if you forget anything and there are plenty of great wineries on the road. Would certainly come back if I find myself in the neighborhood.

We never received check in instructions and after calling, messaging and using the virtual agent to assist, we still never heard from them. Luckily enough the door was open on arrival otherwise we never would’ve been able to make it inside.

Lovely location, great for my disabled sister

The Tadpole had a lovely porch area overlooking the pond. My sister is in a wheel chair and this house worked very well for her. The driving access is a bit challenging as the road is loose gravel and getting up it can be a bit dicey.

Beautiful lakeside house

What a great way for my husband and I to unwind at this lovely little house by the lake. The ducks that call the lake home know the drill: the moment we arrived they came running to get their rations, and lo and behold, there was a jar of duck food waiting for us. Beautiful and very private property in a valley among towering oaks. Fully stocked kitchen. There are plenty of wine, beer and cider tasting opportunities along Highway 128. Thank you!
