Beautiful place, a lovely place for a family.
The cabin is a delightful getaway, with all of the little things attended to. We felt right at home and never had a worry. The property manager was super helpful. The beds were comfortable and warm, and it is easily accessible to Wolf Creek ski area, our very reason for going. Great value, and really usable and lovely lodging.

Just what we needed!
The cabin was quiet, and thoughtfully decorated. We were looking for a few days to renew following a long medical journey, and this cabin was the perfect fit. Took advantage of fishing in a nearby reservoir, of exploring the community and taking drives and hikes. It was a perfect time away!
This was OUR Best experience Ever !!!
Diana was absolutely The warmest Kindest , most caring Hostest todate!!!
Always concerned about our needs and genuinely contributed to our overall FANTASTIC experience!!!!

Our children are working at WayForward Adventures and this was a perfect location to stay and be near them. The home was great! Our only negative was the bed on the 1st floor at the front of the home was extremely squeeky!!

Linda, thank you for sharing your experience, we're so pleased that our home was a perfect fit for your party! We're glad you enjoyed our home but we apologize for any inconvenience caused by a squeaky bed and we shared your feedback with the local team. We enjoyed having you as our guest and we hope to host you again.
Came for business in Del Norte so good location. Fully stocked with everything you need. The only down fall was no satellite tv. We are news junkies so had to rely on our iPads. Internet was good. Over all a great place to stay.

A rustic and nice cabin in country setting
My family loved the cabin. Plenty of room for a family of four. We also enjoyed the huge album and movie collection available. Diana, the owner, was a delight to work with. My son left a sweatshirt there, and she was kind enough to mail it back to us. We would definitely stay there again!

So glad you enjoyed it! I'm not the owner, but treat it as if it were my own :) People leave personal items behind all the time. I like to think they were so relaxed while they were in the mountains, it just slipped their mind.

Cute cabin. Very well supplied and clean!! The manager was very responsive There are a few little things that could be improved but overall a lovely place. Improvements to be addressed 1- downstairs shower (with tub) did not work(could only use tub, not shower)2- some leaking around the base of the en-suite shower3- The heater is on a timer and would turn off at 1am every morning. This was very inconvenient. 4- I did not find the bedding very warm and cozy. I know that looks like a lot of issues but overall they were minor and the place was great. Thanks!
This property fit us just fine. It was in a quiet neighborhood although a bit further from town than we would’ve preferred. The beds were small and one was very very firm. The kitchen was well stocked and the outside grill worked well. There were no instructions for the TV so we were very limited in our selections. We finally logged into our own Netflix. Also, the directions to the house were missing a key item…turn right on Arapahoe. Easiest check out list ever!

Beautiful spot, cute cabin, quiet neighborhood, somewhat dated and some small issues
This cabin was the right size, great location, had amenities, very convenient for our fall getaway and exploring. Check-in, communication, neighborhood, walk across the street to the Rio Grande, and fire pit as well as BBQ and wood stove were all perfect.
However:
-Updtsirs beds are awful. Should really be for kids only, no support or box springs.
-All the faucets are plumbed backwards (cold on left hot on right).
-Showerhead is located at about 5 feet, so be prepared to bend over to wash your hair (water pressure great though.)
-Barely a mirror in the house.
-Stairs are DEEP and STEEP. Would have constructed that a little different. No way my dogs could get up them. Be careful!
Otherwise, we loved the location and it it was roomy enough for us and pretty well-appointed in the kitchen.

Thank you for taking the time to review this cabin. The (new) owners have ordered new mattresses. And we will work on some more mirrors. As for the steep steps, I apologize if they were a hinderance, however, we do mention it in the listing. All in all, sounds like you had a great vacation.

Arapahoe Adventure
We loved the location of this rental, located in a quiet, established neighborhoods next to the river (cabin is a very short walk to river).
We liked the upstairs bedroom, which featured two standard beds (no bunks). Be aware that steps to the loft are steep, and the playroom and bathroom have slanted low ceilings.
Note that the front pathway landing to the cabin is a bit rough so consider using the ramp. Parking is a breeze.
Why four stars and not five? The beds downstairs are not too comfortable, and the bedding is paper thin. The window shades allow light and the full moon beamed in like a spotlight. Also, we had to purchase our own bar soap and shower gel, unusual for a rental in this area. Finally, the wood burning stove is beautiful and wood is provided, but no fire starter sticks or matches. We contacted Vacasa support and they told us that they only stick wood and we need to bring our own fire starters, which we didn’t have time for. Sad that we missed out on the nice stove.

Karen, thank you for taking the time to review your stay and provide your valuable feedback. We’re so pleased that you loved the location of our cabin and enjoyed your stay. We understand that it’s difficult to suit everyone’s taste when it comes to beds and bedding, but we do apologize that you found the ones downstairs to be a bit uncomfortable. We have passed this on to our local team. Additionally, we provide a starter kit of supplies that includes travel-sized toiletries to our guests and we are sorry if yours was not on hand. We also want to clarify that while we do provide wood, we don’t supply matches and are sorry for any inconvenience. We enjoyed having you as our guest and we hope to host you again.
Close to river and in a nice location to visit Creede and Lake City
Everything clean and easy to work, rooms were perfect

Great cabin
Very clean and comfortable cabin. Great location and we enjoyed our stay. Only negative was the fridge didn’t get very cold so I’d recommend bringing a cooler if you want your drinks or foods to be very cold.

Cabin in South Fork
The back door did not lock. The area was obviously safe, so no big deal there. The kitchen utensils needed an update. The grill needed to be cleaned when we got there.
None of those were deal killers. We had a good time but it was my Grandson and I. Some folks might have a different assessment.
We rented this for our annual spring break trip. It had all the ammities, clean and comfortable. The fire place was amazing and the firewood was ready to go. If this place is available next year, I will definitely rent it again.
Super cute, comfortable cabin - we loved it! We were skiing but I know it would be wonderful in summer - river is short walk and beautiful!
Stairs are steep - would be challenging for little kids or older people. We truly loved it - would def stay here again!
