This home is beautiful in the beautiful Lake Cushman area. It is a bit far from most of Olympic National Park but it is very comfortable and I would highly recommend it!
Wonderful hosts. Everything you would need from home was there. Awesome binder with ideas for the days and easy to follow directions. Very clean in the comfortable and cozy cabin. Great hiking, fishing, and exploring natures beauty within minutes. Would highly recommend and will def stay again. Thank you for making our Washington visit a memorable one.
We had a wonderful stay. The hosts communicated very well and clearly thought of many of the details that would enhance a visit. The place was cozy, warm and very comfortable. The kitchen was well equiped and we enjoyed many meals there. Loved the close access to the Olympics. Mount Rose, though tough on bad knees coming back down from 4,300 feet, provided wonderful views. A great visit! Thank you so much.
Very pleasant place to come home to after a long hike! By the way, may I suggest the Big Creek hike which is just 4 miles from the house! Lovely decks, very comfortable bed (it's making me wonder if I need a new bed at home?!?). Important to me is it's very quiet, just a few cars drive by but quietly somehow. It has mostly what one needs - could use a kettle, electric or stovetop. Highly recommend!
Our trip was great! The house was cute and very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pots/pans as well as things you might forget (syrup, seasonings...). We had a great time at the lake. Debra was very responsive and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!
It was very nice and comfortable! The host comunicated well with us and provided lots of useful information about the surrounding area and trail options.
Stayed here for Memorial Day weekend and had a fantastic experience. The cabin was exactly as described and a perfect spot to recharge. What really stood out was the host — super responsive and made the whole process seamless from booking to checkout. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend!
This was the perfect spot to access both Lake Cushman and some hiking int the Olympic National Forest and Park. Close proximity to Hoodsport and the surrounding communities. Cozy cabin in a very quiet neighborhood. Kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. Welcome notebook was really helpful! Saw deer our first night! our pup loved the cabin and the surroundings. Debra is so responsive and an excellent host! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!
I love the location of the cabin – near all great hiking spots, as well as close to family I was visiting. The Lamberts were great with providing an incredible amount of information prior to even our arrival regarding the surrounding area and hikes, including directions on how to get to various points of the lake. Understand when you rent this house, you cannot walk to the lake. You will need to drive. We were not there for the lake, so this was not a concern for us. The cabin was cozy and has everything that you need- well stocked in every way imaginable. My only negative comment would be the beds, which were quite soft. But that is just me, I like a firm bed for a bad neck. The first two nights I had terrible sleep, but I blame only myself for not having asked the hosts about the beds before booking. My significant other had no problem with a soft bed. We didn’t spend much time in the cabin as we were always on the go, but it was nice to see plenty of board games available for family entertainment. The area itself is very quiet, which we loved. We had a lovely time!

We're so glad you enjoyed the peaceful location, nearby hiking, and the cabin's amenities. It means a lot to hear that our local recommendations helped make your stay even better.
We appreciate your feedback on the beds, too. Comfort is definitely a personal preference, and we're glad your partner slept well.
For future guests, we'd just note that Lake Cushman's Park 2 is about a 5-minute walk from the cabin, making it easy to enjoy lake access without needing to drive.
Thanks again for staying with us, and we'd love to host you again!
We enjoyed our stay and the peace and quiet without fireworks was exactly what we needed. Our Border Collies loved being able to see out the glass doors and were very comfortable while out walking. Our host was very communicative and helpful. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed to prepare meals, which we did daily. Thank you for sharing your lovely cabin. The cabin was cozy and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and the owners were easily accessible whenever we had questions about anything. We enjoyed our stay in the quaint neighborhood and explored many of the hiking trails and nearby restaurants and shopping. We had a wonderful spring break, and appreciated everything.
Best kid free vacation in this beautiful cabin with my honey! Debbie stayed in contact as well and was absolutely lovely! Hope to go back many times, next time with our babies
