It was a cute cozy house with a nice flowing creek right behind it. It’s located at the end of the street so it was quiet and lovely to hear the water and the birds. Interior was well kept and felt comfortable for us and our dog. Would come again for sure.
What a location and property. I only stayed one night but I couldn't get enough of the thoughtful touches and the stream in the back. Wish I could have stayed longer.
Property was in a very picturesque spot right on the creek and perfect for a night away from home. House was as advertised and we very much enjoyed our stay!
couldn't ask for more, very clean, amazing property. excellent communication with owners, as far as needs and questions. will definitely be staying again.
The home is very comfortable and cozy. We were able to make it our own for our visit. The view of the creek outside of the living room is so peaceful and lovely. The home is in a great location just a minute from downtown Hoodsport and then lovely scenic drives from Lake Cushman, Mount Ellinor, Port Townsend, and so much more. We really loved our day and if I go back to visit, I’ll definitely try to stay there again.
The bungalow was so cute and perfect for our stay. It was well stocked with everything you need. We loved sitting by the creek and just listening to nature. The mexican food place in town had great margaritas and mole. And the coffee bar/bakery has the best ice cream. We really enjoyed our stay.
Love the coziness of the house and the location right by a creek. Love that it is dog friendly. It's so nice to be able to take the pups. They loved playing in the creek.
My children finally referred to that house as the “Sasquatch house.” It’s down the road from my parents. Will book it again for next visit. Was exactly what we needed.
The house was very nice and as listed except only bathroom in master bedroom. Very clean and host was very nice and attentive to questions as needed. Mom and I absolutely loved the sound of the creek and the cabana firepit. We walked down the trail and took pictures of the creek. We definitely plan to rent again.
Everything about the listing was accurate. It is cozy, quiet and peaceful. I could walk up the road towards a dead end with my dogs and also down to Hoodsport from the cabin. There is a bit of noise from the highway up above the property, but really only in front of the house. The babbling creek was what was heard from the house and back area over the creek. There is also an open area just steps from the front door to walk dogs, too. The kitchen was very well stocked! The host was responsive when I blew the WiFi code and had to call! My bad. Would definitely recommend!
This cabin by the creek was peaceful, a great central location for lovely hikes, and the absolute best beds we have EVER slept in at a rental stay. Despite a little early snaffu with the check in process, communication with the host was clear, easy, and helpful. It was very easy to walk to the National Forest Service office and all the delicious places in town. And my favorite, I was able to sleep without my noise machine by just opening the bedroom window. We loved our stay and would recommend this spot to anyone who wants an out-of-the way peaceful spot to explore the Olympic Peninsula.
Unique and peaceful spot in beautiful quaint hoodsport. Walk to town yet very secluded. Creek sound and ambiance very nice. Home was very clean and had all the basics to make our stay comfortable. Would definitely return to this lovely spot.
The positives: the host was quick to respond, the house clean, shaded and on a creek which was fabulous due to the summer heat, beds super comfy and a quick walk or drive to town, the back deck was great to watch the river and there is a screened area as well. Negatives: the chairs around the camp fire area were uncomfortable, the house is small with 1 bath which hubby and I didn't mind but the place would be cramped with more than 2 to 4 people.
