Enjoy the best of Florida in a freshly renovated Heron House On Crooked Lake.. Spend quiet time at home watching sunset on Crooked Lake from the front porch OR a quick jaunt into Mount Dora for Festival, shopping OR 30 minute drive to Disney OR walk to a 90 acre amazing preserve with birding and walking trails OR visit any of the hundreds of Lakes in the area! NO Smoking. No Pets due to Insurance Regualtions. NO Work trucks (HOA), No third party rentals, no smoking, no RVs.
NOTE: During Feb/March, Owner resides in apartment space over garage. No shared spaces.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

Heron house

We had a great time. The house was very clean and well taken care of. The view of the lake was great and the sunsets were cool. Quiet neighborhood and close to shopping and restaurants. Would do it again.

Happiness at Heron House

We experienced a relaxing and enjoyable stay at the Heron House. The quiet neighborhood overlooks Crooked Lake. We watched spectacular sunsets from the front deck and the back patio was cozy for evening meals. The house was clean and had all the comforts of home. Even though we were less than a mile from Route 441 you would not know it. Nature trails and winding roads give you a country feel. The owners are a wonderful couple who truly cared about our stay. They were helpful and responsive to any of requests. Heron House is definitely on our return list.

Great home for family get togethers

This home is simply beautiful and cozy for your family get together. I am a full time RV-er and rented this home to stay at with my parents over the Thanksgiving holiday. Heron House promised a clean and renovated stay with all the amenities of home and followed through with its promises. The location is perfectly convenient to the treasures of Eustis, Mt Dora and Tavares. The view from the large windows is peaceful and serene. The natural light throughout the whole house is energizing without blinding and an added bonus that I was not expected but impressed the pants off me wad the THREE outdoor living spaces. 5 stars. Would definitely stay again. One thing I would mention is that the beds are super duper high. My mother is a bit mobility challenged and thankfully the one bedroom by the garage has a lower bed because she was not able to get on and off the other two beds.
