Perfect for an old low country getaway. The inside of the home is very clean and spacious! The grounds are older but nice. Dock is great for fishing. Pool is nice for lounging. Overall great stay !
The location is beautiful! Gorgeous view and and awesome dock which we fished, shrimped and crabbed and enjoyed every minute! We caught and released stingrays, king fish, blue crab, white shrimp, pufferfish, and flounder! The pool was perfect for our kids, it was exactly what we needed. The exterior needed work for sure and some landscape maintenance. It is a little dated in need of some interior love as A/C didn’t help all rooms. Otherwise, we hosted a wake for a proud Marine after an incredible service. It met our needs and we did very much enjoy our stay. The owner was wonderful to work with and we appreciate the communication. If you do have a boat, bring it!!! Highly recommend you enjoy some time here. The pictures a little misleading but it’s very welcoming and cozy overall. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay!
The house is great. Plenty of room to spread out and not feel on top of each other. Plenty of bathrooms! The kitchen had all we needed, although we did not cook much so I can't give a detailed review of the pots and pans. It was a great house, and the view from the dock is a $Million$ view. Thanks for sharing your lovely home!
This is our second time staying at this location and it was just as great as the first time. Adelyn was so accommodating with our short notice request to stay.
The house, property, rooms, bathrooms etc was immaculate, comfortable and very roomy. We would definitely recommend this location.
This home was perfect for our trip to see our Marine. It’s located in a great area and it was nice to have our morning coffee and overlook the water . Lots of space for everyone and the owner was great to work with. We will be back!
This was our first trip to Beaufort after going to Charleston for over a decade. We loved our experience of the town, area and this rental property! The house was a very cute little cottage on the water with great proximity to downtown and the beaches. We loved it so much we booked a return trip for next month!
The property has an incredible view, the house was really clean the location is very close to all there is to do in Beaufort we had plenty of space for all the kids really enjoyed the dock and pool the property owner was really helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had

Great location but house needs a ton of work
The first impression of the exterior was - "this is it?". Doesn't look like the photographs. Interior was welcoming and clean. The queen mattresses sag resulting in 2 people rolling into the middle and waking each other. The siding and all decking has rot and/or termite damage. Outdoor furniture
This property was amazing. We stayed for my son’s marine graduation and it was about 20 minutes from Parris Island. It accommodated my family and a couple of friends and was very spacious and well decorated. The view looking into the backyard was incredibly beautiful with the moss trees overlooking the water. Just make sure to bring bug spray for outside use. We would definitely stay there again when in the area.
The house is very spacious, clean and well appointed. The hostess was very gracious and very quick to reply to any messages I sent. My husband and I spent most of our time on the deck admiring the beautiful view, watching the dolphins swim by, crabbing and fishing from the dock (SC saltwater fishing license required), floating in the pool and just enjoying the peacefulness of the moment. We explored Beaufort and Hunting Island. It was a wonderful experience.
We left Charleston by boat and traveled the ICW to this amazing house. I highly recommend this house to anyone who has a boat, the dock is awesome and even has a deck with plenty of seating to enjoy the beautiful lowcountry sunsets. The house itself is absolutely gorgeous and has everything you need and then some! We are definitely planning on booking this house again next summer!!
Beautiful sunsets, quick dips in the pool, cornhole in the yard and an easy space for my elderly mom to get around. A little drive to the beach, but not bad. And food tasted better there than at home!! Just remember to take your own washcloths or plan to reuse! This was our second time staying there and it didn’t disappoint !
This property is beautiful! Don’t let the outside fool you. This place is huge on the inside! The back yard view is breathtaking from beautiful sunsets to the wildlife swimming by the dock. Our kids had a blast playing in the plunge pool. (Which came to my shoulders while standing. I’m 5’2”) this place was great for our family!
This is almost hard for me to say as I am in the business of operations for the Nashville Market of short and long term vacation rentals. Overall I cried tears of joy when I entered and walked myself thru this incredible home. For me and my high expectations. Winner
This was our first return to the Beaufort area in 25 years. Our extended family stayed at Hunting Island in both park and private cabins starting in the early 70’s. Your home was the perfect home base (too many of us what with grown children and grandchildren to stay in one place anymore) to gather for meals, memories and laughter! And of course the making of new memories.
The house has plenty of room and everything we could possibly need. The view of the creek and marsh are amazing. We got to teach our youngest members how to crab❣️The pool was a wonderful added treat.
As we gathered our belongings to leave we made a promise to make this an annual event. Thank you for everything including your quick response and great ideas for side trips.. Great vacation! Joan
Location, views, and dock were great!
The smell that hit you when you entered the house was very unpleasant and stayed the whole stay. This smell was not outside the house, and you didn't smell it in the water when you drank or showered in it.
The closet in the master bedroom had vents and areas around the vent covered in mold, there is a moisture issue and the moisture bag that was in there is not controlling the issue.
Pest control was an issue. One bathroom had a fly infestation, so we closed that door and never used that bathroom, which was in one of the bedrooms. There was always a large bug of some kind in the master bedroom bed each night, plus small roaches in the kitchen.
Inside of the house was clean (minus what was mentioned before), the outside was not. We never sat on the furniture outside on the deck. The cushions all had mold or algae growing on them and so did the outside rug. It looked like the seating area had not been swept or blown off in preparation of a customer coming.
The deck around the pool had some very questionable boards; when these boards were stepped on, they gave a lot.
The pool itself was nice, but the ladder to get out was broken.
The washing machine water lines are connected backwards, you set it to cold water, and you get hot water.
The ice dispenser was clogged up.
This house has the potential to be a wonderful place to stay, but there are things that need to be fixed before it earns a 4 or 5 star rating.
