Peaceful Garden Retreat, Downtown Arcata Victorian

Lovely, spacious two bedroom apartment in one of Arcata's most historic homes. Located in a wonderful downtown neighborhood a few blocks from the central plaza and close to everything Arcata has to offer. A short walk to the University, as well as plenty of restaurants, cafes, terrific grocery stores, and the farmers' market. Or dine in with a fully equipped gourmet kitchen at your disposal. Both bedrooms have queen sized beds, plus the living room has a sleeper sofa for larger groups.

Charming cottage

Walkable to downtown Arcata. Charming clean cottage in the trees. It had everything we needed. I would definitely stay again!

A Wonderful Treasure!

We loved our time in this Victorian apartment! The beds and bedding were extra cozy. It’s so nice just to be a few blocks from the plaza in Arcata. Bella was very accommodating and so easy to work with. We will definitely come back!

Comfortable home in perfect location.

This home is an adorable Victorian, that is furnished nicely with extremely comfortable bedding.. We stayed in a two bedroom ground floor suite that had a large living room and a fully equipped kitchen, we were able to walk just a couple of small blocks to a great market for coffee every morning. We also walked to dinner in the heart of town every night because everything was so close to the home. Bella, our host was very accommodating and communicative. I will be coming back to Arcata often because I have a son in college at Cal poly Humboldt. I will definitely be staying here again :-)

Perfect getaway!

We had an absolutely lovely time. Perfect location walking distance to shops and restaurants, clean and well apportioned, and a great family space for kids. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Great experience. A beautiful home in a lovely location. Hosts were friendly and responded promptly and appropriately to communication and requests. Walking distance to Arcata’s restaurant’s and shops. Staying in is also a pleasure—very nice kitchen and very comfortable sleeping and living spaces. The tub was a favorite.

Great location, lovely owners, and the place has a lot of charm. One suggestion: some screens on the windows would be nice to allow air in without all the mosquitoes.
