This was half way to meet our brother. Loved the area. We wanted to go to a cavern and it did not disappoint. Found things to do easily. Driving was easy. House was spacious, clean, and offered each of us our privacy with 3 bedrooms. Highly recommend. Our host was easy to get ahold of and answered quickly. My favorite part was sitting on the deck in the morning drinking coffee watching the sun rise over the lake. The exact vacation I was looking for.
It was perfect!! The view was amazing and the location was fantastic. The marina was just down the road and just a short drive to Guntersville City Harbor. The house was amazing everything was high end and updated. The beds were very comfy after a great day of fishing and we loved the basement to leave the boat in each night. We did use the 4 wheel drive to get up the driveway we had read about that in another review.
Property was cozy. Loved the outside areas for entertaining. Kitchen could’ve been stocked better with cooking supplies-measuring spoons and cups, assorted size pots etc. But overall a nice place to stay.
The house is really nice. We really enjoyed our stay. It was spacious and clean. We stayed with family and friends for the 4th of July weekend. We used the boat ramp that is just 1 mile away. The driveway is pretty steep but we were able to manage on the gravel driveway with a larger fishing boat but had to use the 4wd. We would definitely stay here again. The owner is just 1 text or call away and he responds very fast to make sure you are taken care of.
This home was spotless. it has a great porch with a beautiful view of the lake. It's in a secluded neighborhood with very little vehicle traffic. The neighbors were all very friendly. I would highly recommend this property.
We were very pleased with Tim’s rental property. Located on the side of a hill overlooking Lake Guntersville, it was relaxing to sip coffee on the front porch while watching the sunrise. Although not directly on the water, it’s location was even better with such a view. Speaking of coffee, he provides a coffeemaker with a combination coffee pod machine---but bring your own coffee/pods, sugar and sweetener. The full-sized refrigerator also provided cold water and ice—cubed and crushed. The porch furniture has comfortable cushions. The main bedroom is spacious with a large walk-in closet, couch and dresser. The other two bedrooms have closets. There is a full-sized washer and dryer, but we didn’t use it. The TV took a little work to get use to changing channels. We never could find NBC channel. Downstairs was a shuffleboard table and a foozball table. Communication with Tim was flawless. There is a steep driveway to the house and I think about 16 steps from driveway up to the front door. So if walking up steps is a problem, reconsider. This is a quiet peaceful residential neighborhood on a dead-end street. Very little traffic. It was fun to walk the street but no lake walking pathway. There is a community boat launch site and a pier. The pier’s “sitting bench” was comfortable. The A/C and heat worked very well. The rooms were well lighted. It is about a 20-minute drive to Publix in Guntersville. We would definitely return to this property.
We booked this property for a high school fishing tournament out of goose pond. Property is half way point between scottsboro and Guntersville. Quite neighbor hood overlooking lake Guntersville. Very nice place with plenty of room.
The property was exactly as listed. It was very comfortable, modern and clean. Tim was very personable and polite. He communicated very well throughout the course of our stay. The fishing pier is a small walk down and across the street from the house. Everyone throughly enjoyed themselves and loved the place. We would definitely stay again.
We were under the impression this was directly on the lake. It wasn’t, but the property still didn’t disappoint. Lake access just a short walk, beautiful views from the front deck and the home is very cozy. Top notch property management as Tim reached out to offer an early check-in and was extremely understanding when we needed a late checkout due to weather. We’d stay again
The property was very clean and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. The owner was very nice and helpful. I would highly recommend. We will definitely stay again.
Tim was a great host! He called the day before to make sure we didn't have any questions and gave us a few tips for our stay. He did a walk through the morning of to make sure the house was clean and in order. I felt like I could call him at any minute with any questions or concerns.
