Whether you’re going fishing or exploring the lake, this charming retreat features a cozy living room/kitchen open floor plan with access to an upper and lower deck. The lower deck is 36 x 16' and features tables and chairs to enjoy the 1.2 mile view of the main channel. This deck also features a Solo fire pit, a gas and charcoal grill to prepare your catch of the day or those burgers for grilling. The upper deck, 24 x 6', features a bistro set and couples swing. Perfect for morning coffee or an evening beverage while unwinding after a day of exploring. From the main bedroom you'll enjoy a view of the lake. If you’re fishing, the cabin offers parking for 2 fishing boats, and 30AMP electric for battery charging. This cabin truly offers you the fishing trip or couples getaway you've been waiting for. A great little getaway

By far the best experience we’ve had with any VRBO! The home was well equipped with everything you’ll need to enjoy your time away. The host was fantastic! The cabin was very clean and neat and had everything we needed for our stay. My wife came with me on my fishing trip. She doesn't fish so she stayed in the cabin and enjoyed reading, relaxing, and taking in the fabulous view. It was truly one of the easiest places we have ever stayed with good boat parking and electricity to charge the batteries. We loved Dana and Chris and will be back soon.

Excellent Everything

We were in the area to enjoy some fishing and to look at some properties. My son was in the boat most of the time while my wife and I explored Guntersville and Scottsboro. The location was perfectly positioned in the area we most wanted to spend time. We day tripped to Guntersville State Park, High Falls Park, and Buck's Pocket State Park with our English Retriever, Luna. We had a great time and loved the accommodations. The place was clean and perfect in every way. The boat was right outside the door with electric and we had no fear or concern for security. Thank you for the wonderful week.

Why they chose this property

Quiet street with most homes being vacation homes. Our home is located on a dead end road very easy for boat/ trailer turn around. We are within walking distance to Retreet tree house resort

What makes this property unique

Located on the main channel with beautiful sunrise views. One mile from Waterfront GTO boat ramp. You are welcome to tie a boat up or use the whips at our dock for short periods, We are on the main channel with commercial barge traffic and winds, usually not ideal for long term tie up
