Brilliant place to stay.

My family and I stayed here from Australia. It was a brilliant location. Lovely 4 bed gite with amazing grounds and swimming pool. There is lots to do in the grounds, bike riding, Table tennis, bagminton, boules, walking. We were lucky to get fresh eggs from the farm. The gite was very well equipped. The pictures don't do the place justice it's far more beautiful. Thanks for an amazing stay. Jenny Mcpherson

Great situation, calm, secure,quiet, welcoming

From the arrival we were warmly greeted. The pictures on line didn't do justice to how beautiful the setting was. The gite was much larger than we had anticipated and was spotless. The facilities were perfect especially for our 3 year old granddaughter who was able to run around safely. She really enjoyed seeing all the animals on the farm. The gite is very well placed for easy access to visit many places of interest and although in a very rural location, the supermarket is only 10 mins away. Perfect. Many thanks to Valerie and all the family for making our stay so enjoyable. We have no hesitation in recommending this gite to others.

Peaceful haven

Lovely airy accommodation with all you need for a relaxing holiday. It is fairly remote, but only a short (25-35 minute) drive to some very nice locations, including the towns of Bergerac and Perigeaux. Access to lots of walks through the country lanes, or stay on the property and enjoy the swimming pool, badminton and table tennis etc. Plus extensive play areas if you have children. Valérie and her husband run the farm and sell the produce. Valérie’s mum, Marie-France was lovely, very helpful, and we could buy their home grown vegetables and figs plus goodies from the organic farm shop (including eggs). She happily took us round the garden to see what we would like and everything was picked fresh. There’s a good Inter marche in Mussidan (about 12 minutes drive) plus a Lidl and Netto, though we didn’t use these. Visiting the working mill a little north of the property was well worth the drive, the nut oils, nut flours, soaps and other artisan products were wonderful, and the owner who gave us a tour was so informative and passionate. Would we stay again? Definitely! Loved the house, the area, the animals and the hosts.

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine dans un cadre champêtre . La communication avec les propriétaires a été facile. Ils ont été discrets mais en même temps réceptifs à nos demandes. La maison est très propre et confortable. La propriété est très bien entretenue, la piscine et les jeux pour les enfants sont super.

Moment hors du temps en famille

Nous avons passé un très bon week-end à la ferme de Paufy. Encore merci de l'accueil et des conseils de Valérie et sa famille. La propriété offre vraiment un cadre propice au partage de bons moments en famille et de calme. Tout le monde y trouve son compte que ce soit les enfants avec les aires jeux (dont ils ont profité jusqu'au dernier moment 😊) ou les adultes avec le chemin dans les bois menant à l'étang. La maison est très bien équipée, nous avons même pu profiter de la cheminée! Déjeuner en terrasse avec en arrière plan le verger et les vaches. Juste parfait. Nous recommandons vivement!

Lovely Spot

Many thanks to Marie-France for the warm welcome. We had a wonderful time in this comfortable Gite. The surrounding countryside and the garden is picturesque. The swimming pool provided a welcome cool-down at the end of the hot weather while we were staying. Even when it was very hot outside, the shutters on the windows kept the inside of the Gite comfortable. Would recommend for a family holiday.

Un retour au calme très appréciable !

Un super petit we (trop court) au milieu d'un paysage serein. Tout est fait pour vous amener à la détente, à profiter de la nature. Les enfants sont aux anges entre les animaux, la pêche au lac et les nombreux jeux (piscine, bac à sable, portique, ping pong etc...). Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et prêts à vous conseiller sur les activités alentours ou restaurants... Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir ! Petit plus : possibilité de repartir avec les produits de la ferme ! (Œufs, viandes, plats préparés...)

Très belle semaine passée dans le gîte "vert pré" tout à fait conforme à la description. Les extérieurs sont très agréables pour les enfants et les adultes. La propriété est très bien entretenue. Spectacle tous les soirs d un ciel magnifiquement étoilé, lune rousse incroyable, étoiles filantes et voie lactée. Accueil parfait (un feu de cheminée nous attendait par une journée pluvieuse). Le gîte est très propre, la déco soignée et le jardin agréable, fleuri et très bien entretenu. Tout est fait pour que l’on passe un excellent séjour : piscine, table de Ping Pong, prêt de raquettes, terrain de pétanque, barbecue. Le cadre est très agréable et l’environnement calme. Propriétaire discrète mais à l’écoute. A recommander pour des vacances en famille.

Un excellent week-end au vert !

Nous avons passé un excellent week-end au vert à la ferme de Paufy. Le gîte est très agréable, nous avons été accueillis avec un feu dans la cheminée déjà prêt et nous avions à notre disposition tout le matériel pour les bébés et enfants. Entre les averses, nous avons chaussé nos bottes pour profiter du domaine : jeux pour enfants, balades au bord du lac, visites des poules, chevaux, vaches,... Merci à Valérie et sa famille pour ce chaleureux accueil, nous reviendrons !
