Excellent villa in a quiet neighbourhood. Beaches (Monte Clerigo & Arrifana) are close by (5-10 minutes) by car. The house is very comfortable, it was well-equipped and taken care of. The garden is stunning. All in all, top holiday week! We hope to repeat.

Always the perfect spot for vacations with peace

Paradise close to the coast

Wonderful house - especially the garden is a place which one can enjoy at all time of the day. The house's furniture and equipment are excellent and nicely designed. Maria is a great and charming guide to the house.

A very nice big summer cottage. Big nice, private outdoor areas, for sunbathing and one for eating, with a dining table for 6. Very well equipped kitchen, all the machines you could think of. All furniture were simple and for outdoor use, even inside, so we found it a bit hard, since my husband have a hip-problem. Plenty of hot water in the showers. It was situated in a big area of holyday houses, but it looked like som people rented for longterm. Very, very quiet, and in October not too many people. You had a 25 minutes walk to the only grocery shop (which had almost everything), 30 minutes to 2 restaurantes and a 35-40 minutes walk to Monte Clerigo, which was a beautiful small, very laid-back village with a café/restaurant, and a beautiful beach made for surfing. A lot of young families, hikers and surfers. Longer to Arrefana, (which in my view is overrated). So you need a car to go around if you have any special needs. If you just want to relax and walk, it is perfect.

Two nightmarish nights

One of the worst experiences in all of our 10 family trips. In the morning, we caught all the mosquitoes we could find, but by evening, even more appeared from every corner. The second night, we couldn’t sleep due to their hissing and biting. They seemed to come from inside the house, possibly through the vent, as new ones kept appearing after we caught them all night. The house was full of mosquitoes because the bedrooms were damp, smelled bad, and had mold on the walls ! We endured two nightmarish nights (instead of 7) and couldn’t stay any longer; this wasn’t a vacation but a nightmare. We flew to Portugal from another part of Europe hoping to enjoy the beautiful houses and surroundings. Instead, the host, Yannick Garnier, told us to keep the windows and doors closed !!!

Read the comments of the people who rented the house just before and after you and you will understand that your comments are inadmissible and irrelevant. You took the liberty of contacting me at 1 a.m. and 4 a.m., this is unacceptable! You left the house dirty without taking inventory. I have to tell you that I have never had such horrible tenants.

Wunderschönes, sehr gepflegtes Ferienhaus

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in diesem wunderschönen äußerst gepflegten Haus sehr genossen. Alles war mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, dabei aber auch sehr zweckmäßig. Der Essplatz auf der sehr großzügigen Terrasse war einfach wunderbar, genauso haben wir die Sonnenliegen auf dem angrenzenden Bereich der Terrasse genossen sowie auch den sehr schön angelegten Garten. Die Ruhe war fantastisch. Es stimmte einfach alles.Vielen Dank, dass wir in diesem schönen Ferienhaus unseren Urlaub verbringen durften.

Wunderschönes Haus in perfekter Lage zu perfekten Surfstränden
