About this property

Waterfront Apartment with Fantastic Views

We call this recently renovated luxury apartment Hale Kai, which is Hawaiian for 'Sea House.' It is fully furnished and has spectacular views of Rock Creek, which joins the Patapsco River and the Chesapeake Bay.

Relax out on your own large deck and watch the boating activity and wildlife in a very quiet and peaceful setting. Come by land or by sea -- we have boat slips available at our dock.

Enjoy spectacular sunrise views and go swimming off the end of our dock. You can also bring your kayak or canoe and explore the many unique coves and enjoy the unforgettable sights of Rock Creek.

This is a second floor apartment that has its own entrance. Please be aware that there are 19 steps going up to the apt. We live in the main house directly below. The location is ideal - close to historic Annapolis and Baltimore, BWI and about an hour to Washington, DC (if you avoid rush hours). It is ideal for a family getaway, an anniversary, a sight seeing base of operations, or business related activities.

The apartment is not a B&B, it is a 'B' (we may add the other B later).

The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen and a grill on your deck.

There are a few restaurants within walking distance and many more restaurants and supermarkets close by. Some restaurants offer home delivery (menus provided).

We truly enjoyed our peaceful stay at this waterfront apartment. Clean, quiet, spacious with wonderfully comfortable furniture(indoor and out) to relax, unwind, read. It was close enough to Annapolis for our day excursions to U.S. Naval Academy, Boat show, Navy/AF football game! It was great to have such a peaceful place to return to after our busy days and my husband enjoyed canoeing as well. The hosts were lovely. Thank you Sally! We would definitely stay here again.

A wonderful stay

The hosts are a lovely couple. As indicated in the property description, they live in the lower level of the home, and would have been easily reachable if anything went wrong (it didn't). Thanks for a great stay!

Absolutely incredible property and hostess! Directions were easy to follow and Sally communicated ahead of time. The property was just like the photos, idyllic and right by the water. As stated in the listing, there is a flight of stairs to get to the apt; not an issue for us but could be an issue for some. Sally's apartment was well stocked with everything we needed and more! It was spotless on our arrival and she checked in with us during the stay which was a great touch. Would definitely stay here again if I was back in the area!
