Charming gîte with Spa, on the bay of Mont Saint Michel

The Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel, an UNESCO World Heritage Site, is also home to Europe’s highest tides… Take a trip to Granville, a small former pirate town transformed into a renowned seaside resort, all the way to Saint-Malo, located at the northern tip of Ille-et-Vilaine and serving as a gateway to the Channel Islands and England via Fougères and its medieval castle.

The cottage is located in Brittany, in the heart of the Sougéal Marsh Nature Reserve. It offers breathtaking views of the natural surroundings, less than 10 minutes from the gateway to Normandy. The marsh is one of Brittany’s three main pike spawning grounds and also a prime habitat for waterfowl. The reserve’s ornithological value is closely linked to its proximity to the Bay of Mont Saint-Michel, which is internationally recognised for its ability to support waterfowl.

A must-see, a visit to Mont Saint-Michel can be planned as follows:
– Tour of the village and ramparts,(you can also hire a guide)
– Tour of the abbey
– Tour of the museums

On the ground floor, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, and electric kettle. Dining table and chairs for 8 people, a sitting area around a large granite fireplace, and a bathroom with a shower and toilet.

A hot tub for 6 people, heated year-round to 38°C, on an outdoor terrace, and patio furniture for 8 people.
Upstairs, the sleeping area: a bathroom with shower and toilet, as well as 3 bedrooms that can accommodate 6 people (13 m² double bed – 12 m² double bed – 10 m² with 2 single beds).
