Gîte de Bully

This stone house, approximately 100 m² in size, is furnished and equipped to accommodate up to 8 people and offers you the tranquility of a comfortable stay.
Ideally located in a Norman village between the countryside and the coast, near Caen and at the gateway to Suisse Normande, the house is surrounded by hiking trails along the Guigne and Orne rivers. You’ll enjoy an exceptional bucolic setting and can go hiking and biking along the well-maintained greenway leading to Caen and the beaches...

The house is located in a small village bordered by hiking trails along the Guigne and Orne rivers and a greenway that provides safe access to Caen, the beaches, or—on the other side—Normandy’s Swiss Region! The village has several shops: a farmer sells produce just a stone’s throw from the house, and you’ll also find a bakery, a bar and tobacco shop, and a hair salon. We’re located just a few hundred metres from the Moulin de Bully, which offers rooms for rent to host events in an exceptional setting.

You enter the home through the living area: a fully equipped kitchen that opens onto the dining room and living room. You’ll find everything you need to cook and enjoy your meals in the best possible conditions.

The living room features a sofa and a Stressless recliner, along with two matching stools, arranged around a coffee table and facing the TV.

A fondue set and a plancha are available for your use.

Board games are available for evenings with family and/or friends.

Once you’ve crossed through the main room, you’ll reach the garden and the ground-floor bedroom.

This bedroom has direct access to the garden and features a bathroom with a bathtub and a separate toilet.

On the ground floor, you’ll also find a laundry room with a washing machine and ironing equipment.

On the ground floor, there are two bedrooms: one with a double bed and one with two single beds, both offering a view of Suisse Normande.

A bathroom with a shower and a separate toilet completes this ground floor.

The staircase then leads to the second floor, which features two attic bedrooms, each with a single bed.

Babies are welcome: a high chair, a baby bathtub, and a travel cot are available.

Sheets and towels are not provided.

Ideally located in Normandy, this accommodation is the perfect base to recharge your batteries between sightseeing trips. From here, you can visit:

- Arromanches-les-Bains—in the heart of the D-Day beaches, with remnants of the artificial harbour (39 km),

- Clécy—in the heart of “Normandy’s Switzerland,” a starting point for numerous water- and mountain-based activities: canoeing, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, rock climbing, via ferrata, paragliding… (28 km).

And for a slightly longer excursion: you’re less than a 2-hour drive from Mont Saint-Michel!

As a reminder, the greenway lets you reach Ouistreham on one side—passing through city centre Caen—and Clécy on the other, all in a lush, green setting along the Orne River. Bike-rail service is available in the neighbouring village.
