In the heart of the Champagne wine region, just outside Bar-sur-Aube—where you’ll find all the amenities and shops you need—7 km from the Nigloland amusement park and 50 km from Troyes, Mélanie and Arnaud welcome you to this spacious home that can accommodate up to 8 people. It has retained its old-world charm with its stone walls, half-timbering, and exposed beams, while featuring tasteful, contemporary decor. Set within an active winery, the owners—who are winemakers—will offer tastings of their wines in their superb cellar located directly below the cottage (details available from the owners). On the ground floor, you’ll find a beautiful living area with an open kitchen, a dining area, and a comfortable sitting area with a TV (a sofa bed for 2 people is available for an additional fee), a separate bathroom with a sink, and a laundry room. Upstairs, you’ll find a mezzanine with a pull-out bed (160x200), a double bedroom (160x200 bed), a twin bedroom (2 beds measuring 90x200 that can be arranged as a double bed), and a bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet. Outside: a courtyard of approximately 100 m² with a covered terrace, a barbecue, outdoor furniture with a parasol, lounge chairs, and a relaxation area. Parking is available in a lot located at the back of the cottage (charging station for electric cars available upon request for an additional fee). The beds will be made, and towels and linens will be provided; end-of-stay cleaning, electricity, and heating are included in the price of the stay. During the grape harvest, the winemaker reserves the right to access the courtyard for work purposes.
