We had a great time in this nice cottage. Yes, low ceiling and narrow steps - but that makes it very cosy. Very friendly contact to owner!
Definitely recommendable!
I wasn't sure what I was getting into at all, but from the moment I arrived I was blown away by the personal care and attention given to this property. All comforts and conveniences available and easily accessible. Great privacy and not a soul bothered us. Would love to stay here again.
We had a great time in this home. It is well equipped and has everything will need. You can hear clean waves from this home and we even met a baby hedgehog in the yard. It's very private and safe and yes close enough to town. You and your family will have memorable time here and we look forward to coming back. If you are a writer a perfect place to get away as well. Paid a very high nightly rate. Nothing welcoming about the place, radiators not working, two woodburners did nothing to address how cold the cottage was. No fuel provided, no towels provided as standard, have to take your own rubbish away, only rules to follow, no welcome note or instructions book, no local recommendations, cracked toilet seat, cluttered, needs decorating, broken lamps/lampshades falling off, sofa and beds felt damp because of the cold, one poor shower off the twin room with no privacy from the windo to outside or the bedroom. Had to find alternative place to stay on first morning on an Easter weekend and still charged for one full night. Host was apologetic but it was a terrible start to our short break and Vrbo were next to hopeless. Carne Beach is lovely but that's the only positive. The place we found on a different site was far superior and cheaper! Very poor experience, would never book through Vrbo again.

Many thanks for taking the time to provide such valuable feedback. We appreciate all comments even those that are unnecessarily harsh.
We are disappointed that the house did not meet your expectations despite laying out a detailed and transparent description of the property and what’s included.
Glad I was able to facilitate a refund without argument for you.
Once again thank you for your feedback and best of luck in your house rentals in the future.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the location and amenities. We're truly sorry the cleanliness didn’t meet expectations — that’s absolutelynot the experience we aim to provide. We’ve escalated this with our cleaning team to ensure it’s resolved going forward. Sincere apologies.
Lovely stay in an idyllic cottage. Beach on the doorstep. Birds and bunnies in the garden every morning. We’ll be back.

Beautiful location quaint well furnished property
This beautiful well equipped home is thoughtfully decorated in a superb location a few paces from the beach. Surrounded by garden on all sides there were birds and bunnies all around and lovely flowers. Having one bathroom downstairs when sleeping upstairs was tricky as the stairs were quite steep and narrow but all in all for the quiet rural escape we wanted this was perfect. Thank you.

Relaxing and peaceful stay, house and garden so beautiful, great communication with host, just perfect!
We really enjoyed our stay at the Fisherman's Cottage. It's a quirky, comfortable place with everything we needed. So close to the beach, the area is beautiful and there is plenty to see and do in Wexford if you would like.
Lovely holiday cottage, very comfortable all mod cons you need. Great outdoor space really safe for kids to run around. Quiet and peaceful locationA minutes walk to beach, nice pier up the top with a little coffee hit.
The location of the property is excellent for beach lovers with Carne beach on your door step. The property is cosy and full of character. It is private, secluded and the perfect place to getaway from it all. The area is fantastic for long walks on the beach and water activities. Really enjoyed our time at the cottage and would love to revisit in the future.
