This rental house makes for a perfect retreat. If you are looking to enjoy some rural Iowa country living, this is the place. This is a great house with lots of sleeping capacity. Lakeview Living can be rented out several ways, this listing is for the ENTIRE house. It can also be rented out as the Sunroom Suite, the Lower Living, and the Main Living. Each rental unit has their separate private entrance as well as double locked interior doors for privacy and security. When Lakeview Living is rented as the entire house, all interior doors can be locked or unlocked, renter's choice. With plenty of sleeping options, this makes for a way for a large family to all stay together, or several families to stay and split the cost!

We do have security cameras installed at all Lakeview Living rental house door entrances, as well as overlooking the deck. These are intended for insurance purposes, as well as safety and security for our guests and property.

We had family coming from several different locations to celebrate our Dad’s 90th birthday. We rented the whole house which was very clean, well stocked and offered many places inside for the family to gather comfortably. The game room was a hit for all ages. The outside was perfect. The deck was a good size for those that didn’t want to do water activities. The paddle boats, kayaks, tree swing were used often. A family photo round the fire pit at dusk will be a great keepsake. We will definitely come back to this beautiful place.

Baseball trip

Beautiful house, great property. Rented the entire house for our men’s baseball team playing at the Iowa Field Of Dreams tournament. We had a great time at the house!! Host was fantastic!! Booking for next year same time!! Thank you. Lee Cosentino and the Twin Peaks Lumberjacks team!

Remote Weekend Getaway

Perfect spot for the group of 13 we had staying for a short weekend away. Beds and accomodations were excellent to fit everyone comfortably. Game room and outdoor activities (kayaks, paddle boats, fire pit, multi level porch seating) were all a huge hit and easily accessible. Tons of appliances and cookware to keep the packing light. I will definitely be returning to this property again! A++

Bday surprise

I wanted to surprise my boyfriend for our 25h birthday with a big group of his friends and this property was perfect for that! It was a beautiful place, had fun games and the guys loved the fishing. Jennifer was very nice and got back to me right away with any questions I had. Would consider coming again and would recommend for anyone!

Family vacation

Private, spacious, clean. Lots to do at the property and in the area. Love the large yard for games and the garage game room. Liked the beach and kayaks and paddle boats. Excellent food at The Pizza Place and Delhi Landing. Enjoyed the wibbets inflatable obstacle course about 20 miles away. We stayed at this property two years in a row. The property manager is very efficient. Plenty of room for 8 adults and 8 children. Would recommend highly!

Family vacation

The property was very private. The house was spacious and plenty of room for 8 adults and 8 kids age 5 to 17. We enjoyed the game room and there is lots of area for yard games. We spent a lot of time at the beach and enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards and did some fishing. We had issues with the water heater but it was handled promptly. Jennifer was friendly and gracious. We also enjoyed the deck and lots of outdoor seating. We also enjoyed the huge inflatable Wibit obstacle course on a lake near Monticello, 20 miles away. We have stayed at many VRBO's and this is one of the favorites.

Iowa Field of Dreams baseball tournament

The Lakeview Property was perfect for 4 families to stay together for our Field of Dreams Baseball tournament. The fields that we played on were about 25 mins away from the house. The property was gorgeous and well maintained. The kids loved using the paddle boats and Kayaks. Everything in the home was super organized and easy to fine. Plenty of pace for four families totaling 18 people to stay. We brought tons of food to eat and make meals and they had everything we needed. If we had a question or needed anything they were quick to respond and very accommodating. Hope to play in the same tournament bext year so we can come back!

A breath of fresh air

After a year of several surgeries, my husband got the approval of his doctors to attend our planned family vacation. We had 2 great grandchildren, because of Covid and severe heart problems, we had never met. This beautiful home, the lakeside views of river, the game room more than met our needs. We did not take a full day to settle in. Every thing is clearly mark. Our one question was met by a visit from the property manager, who was a delight to work with. Our children, grand children and two great grandchildren, got to visit with my recovering husband. We all asked only one thing of him, relax and enjoy. It was something we all did.

Beautiful property, but close to pig farms

Pros: The property was everything we were looking for in a getaway for our extended family (24 of us total). We fit very comfortably and the home was filled with all the amenities we needed, and then some. There were plenty of options for activities, both for adults and kids. The newly installed beach front was a great addition for us. Check-in was a breeze and the owners were very nice and accommodating. Cons: * Although we did swim, the lake was not optimal for for it - fairly green with a mucky/smelly bottom. * The smell of pig manure from nearby farms was occasionally very strong Other notes: * The home is situated somewhat near an RV campground, but it was far enough away that it wasn't an issue. * There was a new home being built right next to this one - not sure if that will be a permanent residence or a rental.

Lakeside Paradise

Lakeview Living was the perfect place for our family of 11 to gather to celebrate my parents’ 50th anniversary. Each family had their own quarters and the kids loved hanging out in the game room! The view is picturesque and so many memories were made as we enjoyed all of the wonderful amenities! We are already talking about making it a yearly event!
