About this property

The potter entrusts you with his country home

It is an ideal place for a quiet and relaxing rural stay, a break with outdoor activities, and/or a discovery of the region (Mont Saint Michel, D-Day landing beaches, Vire Valley...).<br>On the border of Calvados and the Manche, quiet in the bocage, between cultivated fields and grasslands, not overlooked, the recently renovated house is exposed to the south with a nice open view, on a plot of 3000 m² with trees. <br>Access is possible to the grassland and the adjacent grove for walking.<br>Possibilities of mini courses to discover some ceramic techniques, when I am present at the nearby workshop.

Gorgeous house, very well equipped kitchen - far better than we could have hoped. The peace and solitude we sought was found. The whole place was full of charming and occasionally quirky items produced in his pottery studio.A very nice quiet village just a short drive away.Very happy with Marc’s home and we hope to return.

Hidden Gem!

What a wonderful place! We are a family of four and were worried that our two boys would run out of things to do but they loved it! The garden is big enough to explore, play football, badminton and get lost in. The swing and outdoor shower were an added bonus. The house is perfectly located 1hr from Caen, 20 minutes from Vire and an easy drive to the D day beaches. There is a beautiful lake near by which has pedalos and canoes for hire and for adrenaline junkies there is the Normandie Luge and Aqueduct nr by where you can bungie or fly through the air on a 2km zip line trail. Close to large supermarkets but also a little shop 5mins away in the local village. The house if beautifully kitted out with everything you would need. The only thing I would change was a more comfortable sofa to watch tv in the evenings Thank you Marc for letting us stay in your beautiful home.

Beautiful property in a very secluded and quiet location. Rooms are a good size and the bathroom and shower are excellent. Plenty of room downstairs and all the essentials you need. The surroundings are beautiful and extremely peaceful. The garden is lovely and quite large. It was nice just to sit outside and not hear a sound of any cars and just the cows in the next field. If you're looking for somewhere to get away from everything and just to relax, then this is perfect.

Nous avons passé deux semaines formidables dans ce petit paradis : une maison très douillette et bien équipée, un jardin très agréable, avec une vue dominante sur le magnifique bocage normand, des oiseaux qui chantent dans les grands arbres. Des possibilités infinies de randonnée à proximité. Et un hôte extrêmement sympathique et prévenant. J'ajoute que la maison dispose d’un accès performant à internet grâce à la fibre.

Ein wunderbares Ferienhaus mit riesigem Garten , sehr liebevoll ausgestattet, ideal auch mit Hund. Die Ruhe inmitten der Felder war einzigartig, der tolle, rustikale Kamin war auch bei gelegentlichem Regen ein deutlicher Pluspunkt. Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben.

Kleines Haus im Nirgendwo

Sehr schönes kleines Haus Zentral in der Normandie. Von hier aus ideal um Mt St Michel zu besuchen oder Utah beach, Cherbourg und Grannville. Sehr ruhig gelegen, also erholsam und Ruhe. Ca 15 km zum nächsten Supermarkt. Haus perfekt für 2 Erw und 2 Kinder und Hund. Spaziergänge, Spiele und ein großer Garten laden zum entspannen ein

Calme et repos au rendez-vous

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour chez Marc, une maison très charmante , fonctionnelle, bien équipée dans un cadre vraiment incroyable, beaucoup de calme , la nature et des activités a proximité ! Si l'occasion se présente nous n'hésiterons pas à revenir !

Un endroit époustouflant

Nous avons passé sept nuits dans la maison de Marc, et tout ce résumé en un seul mot: magnifique. Le jardin - très bien entretenu par Marc lui-même - donne sur des champs et un petit bois. Le calme est spectaculaire. La maison est très bien équipée. On y trouve tout ce dont on a besoin et plus. Quand nous avons eu besoin de joindre Marc pour un petit souci de wifi, il a tout de suite répondu et est intervenu auprès de l’opérateur. Marc est un hôte sympathique et attentif.

Ländliche Idylle

Die Unterkunft ist sehr gepflegt und schön eingerichtet. Es steckt sicherlich viel Liebe im Haus und Garten. Ich kann mir nicht unbedingt vorstellen, das Haus mit Kindern zu besuchen, aus Sorge, das etwas kaputt geht. Die Lage war für mich ein Traum. Fernab von Orten mitten in der Natur. Als Ausgangspunkt für die umliegenden Sehenswürdigkeiten gut geeignet, man muss allerdings etwa eine Stunde Fahrt einplanen.

Petit coin tranquille

Séjours très agréable , habitation propre et confortable avec un extérieur vraiment très agréable Chaises tables et gril à bois/charbon Nous étions là bas pour les commémoration du débarquement , c’est n’est pas la port a coter mais relativement équilibré pour allé partout je recommande

Excellent et Sérénité assurée

Nous avons passé quelques jours chez Marc, qui est vraiment super sympa, très ouvert à la communication et très à l'écoute de ses hôtes. Il nous a réservé un accueil très chaleureux et a bien voulu nous faire visiter son atelier et découvrir ses belles créations malgré un timing serré pour lui. La maison a beaucoup de charme. Elle est bien située, bien équipée, bien entretenue, entourée d'un immense jardin depuis lequel l'on peut admirer les champs à perte de vue, écouter le chant des oiseaux, et entrevoir à l'aube quelques animaux, un vrai bonheur, la sérénité assurée...Au gré des chemins on découvre beaucoup de belles choses, et quelques kms plus loin on peut visiter plusieurs sites historiques ou autres édifices. Dommage que notre séjour fut si court, on renouvellera l'expérience c'est certain. Je recommande à tous les amoureux de la nature et passionnés d'histoire. Merci à Marc de nous offrir l'accès à son havre de paix.

Comme à la maison

J´ai particulièrement apprécié mon séjour dans "la maison du potier". Elle était parfaitement propre et fonctionnelle. La communication avec Marc a été très agréable. Je recommande vivement et je n´hesiterai pas à revenir.

Bocage normand et bords de mer

Beaucoup de balades vers la Manche, soleil mais température basse, chauffe de la maison aux bois demande une certaine dextérité. Beaux paysages et belle nature.
