The second you step foot into our brand new, custom-built dream home that overlooks Skaneateles Lake, all of your stress will melt away. Conveniently situated across the street from Anyela's winery, the only winery on Skaneateles Lake, our handsome home is light and airy, features 4 bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths, and an open concept layout for the family room and eating area. Lake views from every room are stunning and you'll love relaxing on the huge back deck!

Skaneateles was named the #1 most-underrated place to visit by Oprah Magazine (Feb.'2020). Our home is a 7-minute drive to town center, where you’ll enjoy shopping, dining, wine and beer tasting or to take in a summer concert. The Fingerlakes Wine trail is an easy 45-minute drive, as are amazing hikes with breathtaking waterfalls (the Taughannock Falls are a must see!). This area has it all!

Beautiful views. All but one bedroom has amazing views of the lake. Two bedrooms have king beds. A big plus for our family. Thoughtful layout. Nice big kitchen and table. We had five adults and one 4yo and were very comfortable. The host is responsive. The home was clean. And, there is a winery right across the street! A great stay. Definitely recommend.

Great location, beautiful home!

Perfect house for our week long family vacation in Skaneateles. The rooms were large and well appointed and the beds and bedding were super comfortable! We hiked, toured a few wineries, rented a boat and generally relaxed! We would recommend this house highly!!

A perfect place for a girls weekend! We were honoring the life of a friend, and this was the perfect place to do it! The home had everything we needed to accommodate 8 ladies!

Beautiful new home, subpar host

The house is beautiful, in a great location with views of Skaneateles Lake. It has a great layout -- spacious, open downstairs living area and kitchen, with lovely deck off the eating area. Upstairs was perfect for our three couples, as each couple had their own spacious bedroom and ensuite bathroom. The host answered messages sent through the vrbo app fairly promptly, but never provided a phone number at which to reach him. There was no information in the house regarding how things work, procedures for garbage, recycling, etc., and no number to call to reach someone if need be. Our check-in was delayed until 6 pm at the host's request to give his cleaning crew time to prepare the house properly for us. When we arrived, there were dead bugs on all the window sills, the toilet seat in the master bedroom wasn't clean, there were layers of dust on the nightstand lamps, and other less-than-perfectly-clean conditions. There were only three hand towels in the whole house for the six of us. I messaged the host and requested more, he sounded like he intended to provide them but never did. After a few days, I gave up reminding him. A couple of days before arrival, he advised me that the dishwasher was only working sporadically. He claimed he was unable to fix or replace it because he had so many bookings. It did not work for the duration of our stay. Great house, but if you want an accommodating, gracious host, book elsewhere!
