Family Home in the Heart of Santa Fe

Seeking a quiet, spacious setting with views of the Sandias and the Sangres, at the base of Sun Mountain? Excited about great hikes, walks, cycling and mountain biking--all right out the front door? Our casual and cozy family home provides great access to all Santa Fe has to offer with only a 5-minute drive to the Plaza. You enter the house through a sunroom that provides a warm embrace enhanced by burgeoning geraniums--a perfect space for an afternoon read or catch-up phone call with a friend. You then enter the living room, which features plastered walls, tiled floors, beams, latillas, and a large kiva fireplace. Our recently remodeled kitchen includes a new gas stove and large island for prep work or spreading out the Sunday paper. An outdoor covered dining and sitting area just off the kitchen is perfect for candlelight dinners or morning coffee. Three bedrooms, including the master with its own kiva fireplace, can sleep up to 6, with one bedroom and full bath located at the other end of our 3,200 square foot home for added privacy. An upstairs family/TV room with an adjoining outdoor deck invites you to sunset margaritas or gathering for your Netflix fix of the moment on a 75" screen. Unlike most homes in Santa Fe, we have a large recreational room just off the garage with a stationary bike, Foosball table and plenty of space for your bikes and other outdoor equipment or any projects you want to take on during your stay. If you plan on working from home, we have a comfortable office space off the living room with both standing and sitting desks. The house has central air conditioning to keep it cool on hot summer afternoons. There is also a two-car garage. We have a longstanding weekly house cleaner who will continue through the rental period; required fee in listing.
