Kate was very nice and made us feel right at home. Would love to come back and fish during salmon season and occupy “The Shed”, 10/10 experience! Very clean and the Air Conditioning was such a luxury in the hot summer heat.
Very clean and cozy, perfect size for my husband and I. Within an hour drive of Traverse City and Sleeping Bear Dunes. The fire pit with firewood provided was a nice extra perk.
Kate was amazing - checking in with us and making sure we had everything we needed. The cabin is cozy and perfectly appointed - we had a great getaway in the woods.
The cabin seemed nice when we arrived. When we went to cook something we noticed all the pans and the like were filthy. I told the host. When we went to sleep the beds were 5 inches too short ( I am 5’6”) so that was uncomfortable. The hostess said she would do a trash pick up and a towel refresher daily. We said we did not need that to only bring us 6 washcloths because we didn’t want to be bothered. The next morning we ran to the store and let the cabin air out because we had cooked bacon. On our return 30 mins later we noticed the hostess had entered our cabin she had turned off the ac and fans and closed the windows. We felt violated! Did she snoop around at our things? She could have just hung the facecloths on the door knob. Instead she chose to be nosy.I own an Airbnb and would never enter my guests suite without informing them and surely wouldn’t do what this lady did. Anyway I just wanted to post this to let others know what we experienced. Also the shower head is terrible it spits in your face the entire shower! We won’t be visiting again sad to say.

I’m sorry your stay wasn’t what you expected and that 1 pan had a bit of oil that was missed, even your daughter said it was only 1 pan. I also mentioned that I would be happy to wash every pan in the cupboard even though they weren’t dirty. Funny how all the other guests comment about how clean the cabin is.
The beds are NOT 5 inches short, they are a standard FULL size bed as stated in the cabins description.
I brought over the 6 extra wash cloths and put them in the cabin as I said that I would, it was never mentioned to not enter the cabin. At that time upon entering the windows were all open and the air conditioning was on high so I turned it off, locked the door and exited, I never closed any windows. I don't look through peoples belongings and don't enter the cabin if asked not to. I had no idea how long the guests were going to be gone and didn’t want the AC running all day at 85 degrees with all the windows open, the guests were gone much longer than 30 minutes as well.
The shower head is adjustable and has choices as to how you want the spray.
From the start this customer was demanding and had the attitude she was superior, sometimes you just can’t please people and I certainly tried.
Not to mention every time they left they didn’t bother to follow the road around or turn around in the turn around area they chose to drive all over the grass.
I would NEVER rent to this person again, and I have not said that before and it’s unfortunate. I certainly hope some
We had a very pleasant stay, sadly we had to leave a day early. The cabin is very clean and had everything we needed available. The host is very friendly and available, and offered to do just about anything we might have wanted. We greatly enjoyed our stay.
The property is great! Our stay was perfect. It is cozy, but it has all the necessary items to make the stay pleasant. The cabin is clean, and the surrounding grounds are beautiful and interesting.
Host was very friendly and accommodating. Great property to walk. Cabin is perfect size for a small group and super cute. Great locations with many places to see nearby. Highly recommend Michigan Legacy Art Park, Gwen Frostic Prints and Lake Bluff Bird Sanctuary.
We could not have asked for a more perfect weekend. The cabin was clean and cozy and we absolutely loved the peace and tranquility of the surrounding woods. We’re looking forward to staying again!
Stayed here 4 days. Great outdoor location for getaway. Host was very attentive and came in every day to exchange towels, make beds, etc. Couldn't have been better. Will stay again
